Hi there, I'm Travis! I'm a Harvest Moon fan and am glad to be joining the forum. Well, actually, I used to post here a small bit years and years ago, but I felt that it was better to separate myself from that account (if that is not okay, I understand!). I look forward to being able to talk about future games as well contributing to the site the best I can. I've been recently looking into the dispute over Natsume and Marvelous and the situation regarding Harvest Moon's future, and that actually sorta drew me back here!
I can take this time to talk a bit myself. My favorite Harvest Moon game is "A Wonderful Life" on the gamecube. My hobbies include video games, baking, and art. I've currently been playing Mario Kart 8 a lot recently, and am hoping that Harvest Moon will return to consoles some time soon! Animal Crossing is also another one of my favorite game series! I also play a few different online games like League of Legends. I'm also going to be attending college this fall, so that should be exciting! (I'm going to be majoring in Nursing!) Nice to meet you all! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasmile.gif) This post has been edited by Travis: Jun 4 2014, 09:41 PM |

Hi Travis!
I hope this time you stick around on the forum. :) Two lines of Harvest Moon would be....very interesting. I really want to see what Natsume comes up with. I have A Wonderful Life Special Edition. I stopped playing on like, one of the last years. I was sooo close, darn. That's a lot of people's favourite game on these forums, haha. And give me your Mario Kart. And a WiiU to play it on. Please. /Beg |

Thanks! I agree, the two lines of Harvest Moon could really be interesting! I'm looking forward to seeing what Natsume comes up with, the details so far sound pretty appealing, almost like Harvest Moon meets Animal Crossing!
And I definitely would share my Wii U with you if I could! :( |

AWL is one of my favorites. But it's in a tie with Animal Parade.
If you don't mind me asking, which account did you use before? :B Stick around or bad things will happen. |

Yay, a new member! Hey there Travis! I hope you stick around. :D
I'm probably the only regular here who hasn't played AWL :( But I've watched enough gameplay. I'd love to get my hands on a copy one of these days... You're going to major in Nursing? Meee tooooo! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/emot-kraken.gif) Well, actually I've finished my first year in Health Studies but I'm going to switch to Nursing in the fall (hopefully). |

Hey Travis! Welcome to the forums. AWL is definitely my favorite of the batch. Just a charm there that I really love (that and it was my first HM). Always nice to see a new face on the forums, hope you stick around!

Animal Parade was good, but I feel like the artstyle present with AWL stuck the most with me. Though, I'm willing to bet that's just nostalgia telling me that! And I would say which account it was if I weren't embarrassed about what I was like way back when! Yay, a new member! Hey there Travis! AWL is definitely a great game worth playing, so hopefully you can at some point! And nursing is a great career field, so I think you'll also be very happy with it! :) Hey Travis! Welcome to the forums. AWL is definitely my favorite of the batch. Just a charm there that I really love (that and it was my first HM). Always nice to see a new face on the forums, hope you stick around! I agree, AWL is definitely great! My first Harvest Moon was Back to Nature on the PS1, with Save the Homeland for PS2 and AWL for Gamecube shortly after! Although I love all of those, AWL had all the qualities of a perfectly balanced Harvest Moon. Though, I think adding more bachelorettes/bachelors would've been nice (which they did later anyway!). hi travis I am novi I am on site too. please stay awhile Hi, Novi, nice to meet you! Hi, Novi, nice to meet you! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaevil.gif) Yeah no, definitely the artstyle of AWL is better. Really, in all honesty, AWL beats AP in my mind. I must say though I was NOT a big fan of the HMDS series. |

Back to Nature was my first game too! Which is probably why the cast changes from 64 doesn't bother me so much as other people, haha. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
I liked A Wonderful Life but.....I think it should have had more interactive festivals. And either for time to move faster/more events so it feels like time isn't passing so slowly. Luckily the chapters in the Special Edition are all one year, but the downside is that loading times are awfully long. |

Charmy, just a thought for when you get your PS3, but if you buy it on PSN it has like no loading times at all. That's where I got mine and it loads pretty well.

I really didn't seem to mind the loading times when I was younger, haha. I think they're get on my nerves a little now though. Hmm. Let's see.
