Grand Bazaar has been out for a few days and I know a few people have it. So I decided to make a new post where people can talk about the game and not go completely off topic '-.-.

I love this game so far, the Bazaar is so much fun and jumping is best thing since riding cows in Animal Parade (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . There are so many things I like about this game. The graphics are a lot better than previous DS HM, bug catching is fun, the people make hilarious noises, you can jump! I mean that's enough to make it amazing. I was worried about the Bazaar, but the system works really well and it is so fun. It is just really hard to get reputation.

For my current experiences in the game, I accidentally messed up Antoinette's black heart event. The day was almost over so I didn't reset (now that I think about it I really should have). And I won the Flower Festival yay. It sucks though there wasn't even any kind of prize (IMG:style_emoticons/default/weirdsmile.gif) . And finally I just completed my third bazaar I have yet to hear the results though.

I really love the bazaar, but I suck at getting the goal. I'm almost to my second bazaar in summer, and I still haven't gotten it. I really think I will this time, though. I like the graphics and the jumping, etc., but I really need a bigger rucksack. Just one question, do you need the branches and stones for anything? I know you can make lumber and material stone out of them, but what is it for?

As far as I know (I've had the game for a year and a half), it's just worth more in the Bazaar. You don't need it for improvements - you buy those from either Wilbur or Goran for jacked up prices and they supply whatever might be needed. Seriously, the entire point of the game is mercantile. If it doesn't benefit your sales, it's generally not in the game.

Hah... as for me, I was up at around 45-60k per bazaar until Winter hit, and so now Felix keeps on telling me at the end of each Bazaar (during which I usually rake in about 30k even without crops) that he "can see the light on the horizon". I want to make it up to 50% already. >:/

I got the results for my third Bazaar and I got first place (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif) . I got really lucky because I got a bunch of good stuff from the river. You can find tea in there (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif) . I also grew a lot of potatoes and that really helped. As for sticks and stones I heard you can use one of the Windmills to turn them into fertilizer. But I'm not sure since I just opened the first Windmill and I didn't see the recipe. Maybe I missed it or maybe you use a different Windmill. I have no idea what you use Lumber and Material Stone for. And Mizuki good luck getting to 50%, Felix said that I'm really close so I'm hoping I'll be able to make it to 25% at the next Bazaar. Although I'm not exactly sure how much I have to make before it levels up.

*Edit*
Oh yeah you can use weeds and sticks to make fertilizer, but I don't know what you can do with stones.

Wow, I really suck. I only made 6,000 this time, but I thought I would be able to sell my tomatoes (which didn't happen to be ripe).

No need to beat yourself up over something like that Jessie. I did something pretty stupid too. I left my Fourth Bazaar really early to go plant a bunch of potato seeds I just bought. And the next day I planted turnips. Well it took two days for me to finally realize oh wait a second the season is about to end and all these crops are just gonna die! So I wasted a couple 1,000 on seeds and spent forever planting, watering, and fertilizing them.

Anyways what did you name your Farm/Character? I named it "Sugar Farm" because I was eating cotton candy at the time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasmile.gif) . And I named my character Buddy after my Uncle (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasad.gif) .

Haha, thanks. You get bonus points for calling me by my name! And I named my character Jessie since that is what I'm called. Also, I named my farm "Breeze Farm" because I'm not creative and spent about 3 seconds thinking of a name.

Pumpkin Patch, I wanted to know who you are going to marry, if you're going to marry anyone at all.

The truth is I probably won't marry someone at all (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . I always get everyone to a point where they will marry me if I propose, then I just never propose to anyone. I guess it's because I don't want to be stuck with one person forever. And the game gets kind a boring after marriage. Unless the kids are good. But in this game they don't seem worth it. But I do always have at least one favorite (sometimes more). Like if I was going to marry that's who it would be. So in Grand Bazaar I would marry I think Daisy or Sherry in my current file and Amir as a girl. But I might change my mind after I get to know them better. So enough about my ridiculousness who are you going to marry?

Well, I'm going to marry Ivan. When I start my boy file, I'm going to marry Freya. Sherry is really cute too though. Really, the girls are so much better and have more character than the guys in this game. They are all designed nicely, too. Antoinette/Enju, who reminds me of a poisonous frog, is the only exception.

Haha I loved how you called Antoinette a poisonous frog (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . The way she looks really reminds me of a friend though so I like her, but not enough to marry her. Hmm Freya seems alright. I thought she was going to be a lot ruder, but she seems kinda nice. I don't think that the girls are obviously better than the guys. Both genders have extremely generic characters (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) . Of course not all of them are bad. But I think the guys aren't that much worse than the girls.

Well I hope this game is as exciting as you all make it sound. I ordered it online and it"s on the way. I can't wait! Though I haven't seen any bachelorettes that look really interesting though... I might just start as a girl...

Btw: is there a lot of different things you can customize/choose from. Like different pets you can adopt, or ways to decor your house. I love when you can customize stuff! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif)

It really is really good. But there isn't a lot to choose from. There are two types of cows and sheep. And I think two dogs to choose from. But you can't do anything with your house. Actually the house starts almost completely upgraded. You start out with a kitchen (you have to buy the utensils though) and a bathroom. Well there is a vase you can put flowers in, I'm not sure if it does anything though.

that sounds good enough. At least you'll be able to have different animals. Also how's the wifi? Can you connect with people anywhere or do you have to be near people? Or did they even include it in the American version?

I just looked through the new posts and realized that I don't even know what characters y'all are referring to. Who are Daisy and Amir and Ivan? ._.

Uh... Lessee... in my file, I kinda of forewent marriage to spend more time making money, but... whenever I get around to it I'll either be marrying Lloyd, Agi, or Schmidt. It all depends on who reaches the highest heart rating first. :P

Mizuki I love the way you decide who to marry just whoever likes you first (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . Daisy is the maid girl who works at the Inn, Amir is Schmidt, and Ivan is the older brown haired brother I think his name was Juris or something like that.

Eh. I suppose the thing is.... I don't really care about the marriage candidates. The whole "marriage in HM" thing is something I've done a gajillion times. At this point, I don't even care if I do get married unless it's relevant to getting the best "score" or "ending" like in the earlier games.

Besides, Lloyd, Agi, and Schmidt are all awesome characters in their own way. :D

So... Um. Anemone, adorable thing that she is became Daisy? Ew. Amir isn't too bad. I can see why they'd choose something like that. The thing that draws the biggest What the waffles from me is Ivan, though. I mean... seriously. What the ######? How does Juris become Ivan?!

Because Juris and Ivan are both Eastern European names and start with.. vowel sounds, phonetically. My grammatical vocabulary sucks so I'm probably not explaining it properly. An alternate (or arguably "more correct") spelling of Juris is Iulis. I approve of Juris -> Ivan, though PERSONALLY I would have named him Yuri (similar to how 'Kaguya' would be exponentially better of a change than 'Emiko', so much that it's better than the original name Kagetsu). I am so glad they didn't go for something totally nonsensical like James or Jonathan.

In all due respect, Anemone was a funny name to begin with, and I can see why they'd change that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) I'm fine with Daisy and Amir. I prefered Juris 'cause it sounded cool, but I won't beat myself up about it.

I'm excited about the many random events, though! Raising everyone's friendship is proving to be a little tough for me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ;

Did anyone know there is actually beer and wine and other actual alcoholic drinks?! No more made-up drinks! Also, where do you buy animals?
