I emailed Natsume, to figure out why Sugartown isn't on their "Coming Soon" list, and if it was still on track for a Q4 2009 release. This was their response:
"Hello, It's scheduled to be coming out next year. Thank you, Customer Service Natsume Inc." I guess that means it's coming out in 2010, in English. |

I don't really believe this changes anything. Natsume is known for being very fickle and unorganized about release dates.

Like Spock said, when it comes to Natsume anything can happen...
I really think this game looks so much better compared to Save the Homeland. I have Save the Homeland, but sadly I never actually played it after finding out that there was no marriage, but instead a kiss and the game ended. After hearing this I really found myself disapointed and didn't really feel impressed by the game. |

True. I just figured I'd share what Natsume said in response to that. Took them like 2 weeks to email a response. Lol.
Save The Homeland only had 2 flaws in my opinion. You couldn't marry, and the game ended (or restarted, if you will.) I personally loved the characters, music, etc. But seeing as the aforementioned problems have been taken care of in this game, it looks like this game's going to be good. |

One thing to always do when dealing with Natsume: Never bank on their release dates. But, next year I could see happening.

That's odd. I wonder why they're changing the name to that. And, I wonder where IGN found out about that. I haven't seen any reports or anything of Natsume saying that.

What a nice e-mail. Very thoughtful.
I think the game looks promising. At least you can get married. |

Save The Homeland was good. And this is an enhanced remake. So I'm sure it will at least be as good as StH.
But still... Weren't they in Sugartown? What's with the 'Leaf Valley' name...? |
