Amigos,
I was actually wondering about the names that you all gave to your ranches and why did you decided this name in particular. For some of you, the name might not be that important, but I know that there are some, like me, that actually give a name with special meaning. For instance, my Ranch is call Storm and why, you all ask, well I'm actually a weather freak myself and in all my HM's games I call my Ranch just like that... Storm Ranch How about you? |

Uscarme. It's always that. It's because the first game I played where you named the ranch was AWL (I've only played AWL, MM, ToT, and EAM. I played MM first, but I can't remember if you could name your ranch...), and there's the guy with the big eyebrows who's telling you about everything, and he was creeping my friend and me out. And, we were also playing it to mess around (I think we named him Hotstuff). So, I named it that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ; The name's just stuck ever since....

Reed Ranch, as in the reed of an instrument. It had a nice ring to it and it stuck with the whole music theme! :)

Reed...I think of those little plants in ponds, near the lily pads? I dunno if that's what they're called, but it's what I think of. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ;

I think I know what your talking about. I'm not sure what those are called though. I just know a reed is that little wooden piece you blow into on like a clarinet.

Yeah a reed is both of those things (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif) and I think it was a good idea giving that name, to your ranch, to keep the names of music and instruments on the game. Now I'm actually thinking on making the same thing when I play once more with another character, but... what to name it. Oh well, I'll think of something when the time comes.

I used the name "Candy Ranch" because for my first file where I married Chase I decided to go with a "Sweets" theme for my ranch and animal names :3 Other themes I've used were Flowers and Japanese words ^^

I played the clarinet in middle school. It's just, the first thing that comes to mind is the plant. :D This is making me wanna play some Harvest Moon.... |

Windfall. Which was odd as I've always called my ranches OakView since my first one in 64. No idea what made me go with something new.

I usually name my ranch or farm after my last name but since in animal parade most of the places are named after musical instruments I named my farm Clarinet Farm

Caramel Ranch.
I was scrolling through the defaults to help me get ideas and I saw that name and I thought it was a cute little allusion to ToT. So I picked it. |

I uh, had a little typo when I was naming my ranch so it's called Grapvine Ranch/Farm/Whatever-it's-called, instead of Grapevine -_-

Ciel (as in the french word 'sky') I was gonna go with a french theme and name it 'L'arc de Ciel' which is rainbow. But didn't have enough room. It was french because I'm Canadian and just had to. And I named my ToT ranch 'eclair' aswell :D
But in AWL, I didn't know that they added 'farm' at the end for you. So it wound up becoming 'ranch farm farm' LOL! |
