What was your experience with the "billion dollar" glitch in HMDS?
What did you spend it on? Did it wreck your game? How did it effect your farming life? ( I sound like a psychiatrist )
Well, for me, I tried it and it totally wrecked my game. There were scattered little pixels that were all over the yard and the town, and I couldnt get into my mushroom shed or my barn. I couldn't get into the tenet by the excavation site and my game would frequently freeze when I walked out of the house.
ALthough I'm not sure if that was all the glitches fault...
Except I did buy a whole bunch of stuff and I was happy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif)

1 Billion G glitch
During the winter season, hire the Fishing team to work at the Ocean. Each day they are working you have a chance of randomly being rewarded with 1 billion gold. You only have to check your Farm Assets screen to see if you have magically been gifted.

SO yeah, I got it by accident and thought I was the luckiest person ever... LOL.

I got it by accident too, and I was really surprised.



It didn't even work when it was supposed to, but then at the end of Winter it just worked all of the sudden. :D

I never got the fish glitch. But those glitches might've been a conicdence, I would use it on the island property, or more buildings.

I did that cheat I still have lots on money even though I'm in summer of year 2 but it's awesome I spend on everything even the island outside of town.

Woah...so thats what it was. All this time I've been wondering why I was getting hundreds of millions of G daily. I thought I was just lucky. =/

Well it didn't really ruin the game by making it unplayable or anything. It just made the game boring since I had enough money to buy whatever I wanted without working. I quit playing shortly after but I never saw any other gameplay glitches pop up.

This happened to me and it made my day! I had no idea how I ended up with so much money, but right away I ended up buying the island or whatever.

I even thought I was the first to discover this glitch, so I wrote down what I did the day before. I thought the glitch happened because I had shipped an herb right at midnight or something. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

I got this glitch entirely by accident, too. I didn't even notice it for awhile and when I checked my Assests. BAM. One billion. D:

At first I didn't like the idea of cheating and earning money through glitches (because I was so used to actually working hard for moolah on AWL:SE) but since I didn't want to get the glitch but I got it anyway, I started spending like there was no tomorrow.

I never finished the game though. Mainly because I couldn't rescue all sprites but I guess it also got boring because I had enough money to not work at all.
