I suggest you learn the Rainbow Recipes before hand. There are items you can't get most of the year so if you miss that window of opportunity you could end up having to wait almost a year before being able to get the item again.
The only animals I had in ToT was a sheep. So I can't help you with that ^^;. For crops Strawberries and Cabbage are good in Spring. Tomatoes or Honeydew in Summer. Eggplant in Fall. And uhh I don't know what to do in Winter. I think most of the things you can grow in Winter are flowers. Also gifts will work more then once per day depending on how much they like the gift. If it is a favorite gift you can only give them one. If you give them liked gifts you can give two per day. If it is an okay gift you can give four or five per day. So if you can't get a favorite gift of theirs you can just give them multiple liked or okay gifts. Also there is root blocking a path. If you haven't had that removed already be careful. There is a glitch that can happen where the root never gets cut. So avoid that meet Gill, Dale, Luke, and Bo before examining the root blocking the road. Then after you've met all of them examine the root on a sunny day in the morning or afternoon. |

Thank you for the tips I'm playing his game right now. I don't know if I want to go after Calvin Chase Jin Owen or Toby. I really don't like the art style but I can deal. I just wish Gray was a marriage choice I'd go for him immediately.

I hope you don't have a game with the Calvin glitch. It doesn't matter if you aren't gonna marry him but that can be bad if you do woo Calvin. But you most likely have a fixed version.
I love Gray. Too bad it takes so long for him to move in :/. I hardly befriended him by the time I stopped playing the game. There wasn't much left to do by the time he came. Haha you're the one who made this topic and she started playing before you X3. |

I remember the store only sells what you can plant during that season in ToT, and there not that many so it's not that hard to pick what you want to plant. Except for winter, where you can only plant like 3 useless flowers. Worst part of the game by far.
I also didn't really have animals in it for some reason :/ |

Tot I probably didn't give a chance mainly because of the huge loading times and the huge world.
I played it probably for half an hour and was like "###### this ######". |

Don't get as many animals as you can.
Seriously. It takes, like, half a day to tend to them all, every day. That's the main reason why I don't feel like going back. I guess I should sell some of them.... As with most games, start with chickens and ducks. Get a few chickens, ducks and silkworms, then maybe one each of the barn animals. I don't remember the limit, sorry. DX And do check the recipes. I missed one for the last rainbow, and I had to wait about two seasons before I could get it. |

I would say get a fair amount of chickens (5?) Use a sickle to get the grass from the little ranch thing instead of buying fodder. buy lots of chicken food because when it's raining you're screwed!!! UMMMM and I say maybe you should always carry essentials around (watering can, saddle, fishing pole, etc) Going to toucan island and taking everything from the shore and selling it gets you big $$$ oh and MAKE SURE YOU KNOW YOUR SEASONS!!!!!! I made this huge mistake because I didnt know this plant could only grow in the winter T___T now I have to wait a whole year until winter comes by to get the very last rainbow thing lol... so yeah ~ dont get to many big animals (cows, horses, lamb, etc) If they get sick and die you're going to regret it all!!!!

Buy the Plain Omelette in Spring or Summer at the Flea Market. The Flea Market is held the last Sunday of every season in Waffle Town Square starting at 9:00 A.M. Keep the Plain Omelette in your toolbox. You will need it for Ben's Rainbow Recipe, and trust me, you don't want to skip this because it is hard to focus on the farm when going after Rainbow Ingredients.
