Grrrr, are we going to be stuck with another non-aging child? The toddlers are cute, but the games are so much more interesting and fun when your kid actually grows up. Also, I think there is only one design for your child, whether it's a girl or a boy. The MCs are so fantastic, but the child let me down just a little bit. Does anybody else agree?

I pretty much expected that. The children in the DS games are always very lackluster. But I actually never play long enough to have a child so it doesn't really affect me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . If the child did grow up he/she would have to dress a certain way depending on which town you lived in. So to keep things from getting to complicated they just made one universal child. Maybe someday there will be a DS Harvest Moon with better children. I'm still focusing on all the cool new feature in this game though.

I wish they did another child system like they had in A Wonderful Life.
I prefer it when they went into detail on the family. Hmm.... I should go check out the design. EDIT: HA. Reminds me of all the Harvest Sprites. |

I liked AWL family, it made my feel like I had a real kid and wife.
I wish they would make it so the main character and the other people in the game would age. |

I don't think that would work for a DS game. The DS graphics are a lot worse then AWL . Even if they did age you couldn't really tell unless you talked to them. And making all those aging portraits would be really annoying. That's why I'm just hoping for another Harvest Moon on the Wii or something. |

But yeah, I would rather have a new game for the wii or something too. I just want them to make the games seem more realistic in your child's growth. |

I still have an original DS and this is the first time I've ever thought about getting a new one, but I'm definitely going to get this when it comes out. Anyway the kid in this game looks really cute I wonder if they'll post pictures of it when it grows a little older (assuming it grows past that small stage that is). |

I guess. Either way it doesn't really matter I'm not even going to have a kid. But just because I'm not having a kid doesn't mean that I don't care. I like it when you get to have cute children in Harvest Moon games.

I don't think the kid grows anymore, because the game is almost out in Japan, and there hasn't been any more info about it. It seems weird that they only have one design. This one looks like the female MC, so it might be reasonable that there is a kid that looks like the male MC.

I was upset about the whole child thing, hopefully they might put a bit more info as the game's release date gets closer. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasmile.gif)

It's weird when there is only one unisex baby. I bet a kid that looks like the male protagonist would be really cute. |

Now I'm getting worried, because they always show us more about the kid and how they grow and stuff, so far we have nothing but a picture of a three to four year old kid.

They are making a Harvest Moon game for the 3DS. Pretty much no news other than; They're working on it. I wonder if it will be with a new cast of characters or maybe they'll just use people from previous games. It's so sad the 3DS isn't even coming out til next year, so who knows who long it will be before they say anything about a game for the system. |

If you go to the Nintendo E3 site, and find the DS3, there are several game previews. |
