We need to find a way to bring this place back to the lively place it once was. I was thinking that we could start a Ranch Story Facebook account and a Ranch Story Twitter and the staff (site contributors, ranch hands, mods, and admins) could post bits of info about various Harvest Moon games everyday, as well as promote the forums and the site at the same time. It would be a way of keeping in touch with all of our members, as well as bringing new members to the forums.

I had a RanchStory Facebook thing for us-- but only 3 people joined it and when facebook did the conversion it go deleted!

I know nothing about facebook and very little about twitter, personally. If someone wanted to make use of those for RS's benefit, it'd probably be pretty neat. I might even contribute some tweets or whatever.

I'm lucky to get on facebook once a day anymore. Mostly I just check on stuff for school, but I'm cautious about getting on it now because my mom tends to complain if she catches me on there when I'm supposed to be doing homework. Twitter seems like a good way to get us a little better known, though. |
