*Note: Before you immediately disqualify yourself, we don't expect you to write a Players guide overnight... there are only a couple of requirements, nothing huge.

Ranch Story has grown into a relatively large Harvest Moon website, and with there being so many Harvest Moon (and Rune Factory) games, the original staff can't keep up with them all. So we're looking for members who specialize, or are "experts" at certain games to help us with content and answering questions on the forums.

Requirements:

• Must be able to write (use proper English grammar and spelling) content well.
  No biggy. Form complete sentences, can be read and understood by anyone who speaks English.
  
• Must understand BBCode very well and the concept of "HTML tags" (just the concept, nothing advanced). HTML knowledge is a plus.
  If you post on forums regular, chances are you already know all that's required of this one.
  
• Must be able to play through, fact find, explore, and discover as much about the games you cover.
  If you can beat the game, then you're definitely qualified.
  
• Must be active in the respective Game Forum to answer questions and on the general forums.
  If you're only here once in a blue moon, you're not for us.
  
• For unreleased non-english games: Have a decent-to-firm understanding of the Japanese language and be able to translate.
  Guessing is good in school, but lots of people are going to be relying on your word. If you don't know what's going on in the game, how can you give solid advice?
  
• Must be determined.
  If you feel like only contributing one or two notes total, this isn't for you, but you're still welcome to post your findings!

Are there any perks to being an expert?:

Yes! Not to mention..

• Your copywright will be displayed before many thousands of Harvest Moon fans. The website alone gets several thousand hits a day, not to mention a couple extra more on the forums.
• The satisfaction of greatly helping your fellow Harvest Moon Fans.
• Recognition as Ranch Story Staff.
• Extra forum permissions. (Moreso than Veterans)
• There may be prizes and cash rewards.. =O
