Katie's Pokécomics During a new run of HeartGold, I was inspired to begin a mini comic series of my own based on the happenings in the game. Full of lighthearted fun, humor, and lots of teasing at the dialogue in-game, please enjoy this unique spin on the world of one girl's Pokémon adventure! ------------------------------------------------------- Chapters: Coming Soon: With her new batch of team mates, it's time once more to hit the road! What surprises await on the way to Azalea? Hammer Time While Helena travels in Johto, a young man starts his own journey in the Sinnoh region! His name is Hammer, and after receiving a mysterious offer, he's on the fast track to completing the Gym Challenge! OMG! This is hilarious, Katie! I laughed so hard when Helena tripped over Marill!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Just the way the Marill looked and then that guy licked it! Hahaha!! So many other funny parts. Like the people's expressions just make me laugh or Helena running into a wall. XDXD

Katie, this is amazing! I felt creeped out when I saw the old man's face in the part where he shows you around. It's funny because your thoughs aand expressions of what you had to do are the exact same as how mine were when I played!

Darth: maaaareepreepreeeeep Oscar: Yuss. The slapstick scenes are some of the more fun scenes to draw. The scary part is that whenever I'm concentrating on drawing a certain expression, I tend to make the same face in real life! ZBoy: HE SOOO CREEPY. Haha, good! Makes the story more relate-able. C: Lind: ayup. Didn't have much creativity off the top of my head, though I'm not sure how well Richter falls into a villain role. UPDATE! A new mini-series has arrived! |

I think I dreamed about that reference last night. XD;
I was all, "Hm. Rowan looks like a walrus… OH. Oh man. His dia--POKERUS. The Rus. It's gonna getcha." I'll be on a comic spree tonight. I should get the first few Hammer ones done, then catch up some more in Helena's. It's tough willing myself not to play the game, but I needa catch up before I can leave the Ruins of Alph, hah. |

I love comics like these. Where it still follows along with the normal plot, but it's just more entertaining. I just wish I played the game because I have no idea what's going on sometimes... It's still funny though.
