I'm doing a lets play for Harvest moon magical melody, and it will be on my secondary youtube account MangoGetsNoSoup.
Anyone know of any good tips to get notes easily and stuff so that I don't have to drag this LP on too many parts? Because sometimes it takes me WAY too long to finish a game (IMG:style_emoticons/default/declaring_tb.gif) Short post, I know.. but I thought I had more to say.. Guess I didn't? |

A Let's Play of HM seems tough. Mostly because of the obscene amount of stuff not happening. I hope you're good at video editing.

Yeah, being able to edit your videos would help make it shorter, and it might help if you only posted relevant scenes/events. You don't have to play every second of the game for people. That'd take far too long.

Usually I'll speed up anything boring and irrelevant. So that they know its THERE, and its not like "wheres ___??" kind of like in math when someone goes "I don't know where those numbers come from.." so they know its there, its just sped up so its not as boring. :3

I didn't really think a speedup would be required. Just saying "I did this" seemed decent enough. But, considering the many styles of LPers, it may suit you better. Whatever works.

"Let's Play" doesn't seem that fitted for such an open-ended game like MM.
However, if you were playing up to getting all the music notes then that could just make a fine one. |

Yeah I'm basically going to play to get all the notes and then kind of finish up anything else viewers might want me to do and then end it there.

Sigh I could never actually make a video. Not only can I not enunciate but I have such an ugly voice (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad_ghostie.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/emot-iiat.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/jack2_cry.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/jack_cry.gif) .
Anyways those clicky "H" things are just a sign of happiness. I think they are kinda cute. Renee is in Animal Parade. And Ellen also reminds me of Elli too. |
