Toaster Boy: Grasslands Kingdom (green) Hasfusel: Darkwood (black) Lenyo: Talrante (white) Calliope: Volkan (red) GuitarSmasher: Gold Kingdom (yellow) Mizuki: Kozunai: Kuni no Mizu (dark blue) Current Map: (IMG:http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y133/MagicPants/red002x.png) The game starts on the Morning of Day 1. Because this is the first round, I'll give you guys 5 real life days to send me your moves. If you don't send them in, your pieces don't do anything. Remember, the goal is to move towards the areas with the circles on them (supply centers, such as Elsinore) so you get more dudes. Don't forget, you can make partnerships with other countries, though nothing is set in stone. Victory is achieved if you've taken over most of the continent, or if you and your opponents agree the end all the fighting. Note that Elsinore and Quarry City are unique in that both land and naval units can pass through them any which way they like (they got bridges and stuff). Also important is that Mt. Wojo and the Frozen North are unpassable. When your moves are ready or if you have questions, PM me. Do not post your moves in this thread. |

Christ, I get stuck as an Austria-esqe country again. Whatever, I'm totally for winning with one of the harder countries.

Battle Log: Morning of Day 1
TALRANTE - Asheronoth to St. Yunigburg - Persis to Sod Plains - Partagase to Glacio Valley - St. Yunisburg to Frozen Bay GRASSLAND KINGDOM Cucumber Lowlands to Ona Port Wheat to Cucumber Lowlands Mt. Tomato to Soil Valley VOLKAN - Ostara to Iron Bay - Quarry to Ellay - Australis to Glacio Valley DARKWOOD - Dream Forest to Forona - Lantern Marshes to Dark Sea - Windvale to Lantern Marshes GOLD KINGDOM - Gold Cape to Ramodia - Gold Fields to Golden Frontier - Golden Frontier to Gold Highlands XYLONIA - Lea Monde holds - Rolante holds - Porre holds KUNI NO MIZU - Port Town holds - Versailles holds - Shiunn holds THE UPDATED MAP -- It is now the Night of Day 1. Koz and Mizuki didn't send in their moves, so they didn't do anything. But that's not to say they won't be doing anything. Who knows? Anyway, this is an interesting start, a lot of you guys did things I wouldn't have expected and they might pay off. Oh yeah, if you see a move written in italics (which none were this round), it means it was cancelled out by another player's actions (like how both Calliope and Lenyo tried to go into the same place, as a result neither went anywhere cuz they had equal strength). Have your moves in within 4 days (Friday night) so we can keep the pace moving. As usual, send me questions if you're stuck. EDIT: forgot to mention, as this is a Night Round, you'll want to make sure you have pieces on power centers (regions with circles) you don't own if you want to take them. If you were on them during a Day Round and moved off, you won't keep it. |

Lindstrom,
QUOTE Have your moves in within 4 days (Friday night) Today is Friday, yesterday was Thursday. Also, you didn't reply to the PM I sent last night. If GS could say where he's retreating to before we place new units that'd be great. |

Ugh, sorry, I had like a million people saying "hurry up" and I forgot I said how long you guys had. Thursdays are generally confusing for me cuz I tend to work for 12 hours and get no sleep. Lenyo, I know exactly what you wanted to do in 2 particular moves so I'll allow them (Wingate and Kirkland). As for the Sod Plains unit, I can infer what you wanted to do there, but I'll flip a coin to pick which region you wanted to go to.
Retreating occurs in the same time frame as placing new units. However, if people don't say where they want new units, they don't get them. If GS fails to pick a location to retreat to, I pick one for him because his piece is still in play. |

Ah, thanks. One of those moves wasn't very good. But thanks for even letting me move. I'll try to move faster from now on.

I kind of think we need to start this game over, cuz there's a lot of big problems caused by inactivity and smaller problems caused by mistake with the early ended rounds.

If inactivity is an issue, then let's just cut through the bullshit and people who plain can't send in moves can't play.

It would probably make most sense to start a new game, if only because some players have an advantage if they're bordering a non-active player. It certainly doesn't benefit Hasfusel, or Calliope.

I like a challenge, and I'm liking this game. Besides, I've already devoted some thought to it and to the current situation. I'm perfectly happy to stay in this game, as is Calliope as far as I'm aware, although considering we've gained a day with the early turn I think we should have a day's extension for the next turn, which will give Mizuki and Kozunai time to get back.

Yeah but I don't care what you think. If Calliope is super against it then maybe, but otherwise I think it's for the best

Quite frankly, I don't REALLY want to start a new game. I'm interested in this one, though I don't mind starting up a new one, since it's kinda lame what with Kozunai being inactive and other people not seeming to have much interest at all.
However, I think this game could be really fun if we got Kozunai into it and kept going. |

I'm still interested and I'd rather not start a new game but if we really have to, I guess I wouldn't mind either.
As for the inactive players and those who can't send in their moves, why don't we just put all their units on hold like the Grasslands and Gold Kingdoms in the Blue Version? But I'unno. It's not my call. |

Yeeeah, I definitely say we keep things as is and continue. I actually think this game could get interesting.
As for Kozunai, why doesn't Lind just move him for now? |

Lindstrom said he wanted to play last time, anyway. If Lind just picked Koz's moves before reading everyone else's, there'd be no problem. Besides, Koz and Mizuki are due back in a coupla days anyway.
