The series will split into two different series by two different publishers.

How will the forum recognize itself?

There are some members like me that will be skipping Natsume's "Harvest Moon" altogether but we'll still have to recognize it for the forum.
The same goes for Story of Seasons.


I feel like veterans and the mods should kinda get together on this. Not just for the forum but for the entire site.

I don't see why we need to change anything. We've already got 'Bokujou Monogatari' and 'Rune Factory' written up in the banner on the forum, and many of the sections are labeled as 'Harvest Moon'. I think we can support both games perfectly fine just the way we are. I mean, if labels are really that big of a deal, we can make a 'Story of Seasons' childboard and post about Natsume's Harvest Moon in the handheld Harvest Moon boards. If that's just too distasteful for everyone we can make it the other way around and post Story of Seasons in the handheld boards and Natsume's Harvest Moon in its own board. And if that doesn't work for everyone, we can just put both under the 'Handheld Harvest Moon' board. It's all irrelevant, really.

I mean, hell, we have a dedicated Pokemon section and that doesn't affect our identity as a forum, so why should this?

As for the Wiki, I'd find it appropriate to put it in the spin-off section for now, unless the series does grow.
