Magical Melody for Wii? Options

Has anyone gotten the chance to play Magical Melody for Wii yet?
I was processing Nintendo things the other day when it popped up for $15
And I couldn't help but buy it! I want to play, but usually I play a girl, I noticed
That there isn't an option to play girls... Is it because they're guna release a female
Version as well? Or did they just get lazy or something, cause it really sucks.
And are there any other differences? I do intend to continue my play by play of the GC version,but I was just curious about the whole situation with the boys only version..
Anyone willing to ecplain? I've been out of the HM loop for so long its not funny.

I've read through some stuff and it seems that's the only major difference. I think a few translations differ, and maybe some prices, aside that, basically the same aside the fact that you can't play as a girl. I think something with rivals was cut out too, but I can't remember.

Yup they cut the whole girl and marrying a guy thing dont know why they had more disk space and the cut What the waffles I dont even know

Magical Melody is pretty old by now to release another "For Girl version", especially since it's already in the original.

I think they got lazy and didn't put the female in. It usually has some other reason including:
*Nintendo did not see it was strategic in accordance with the 'plan.'
*Reggie's body wasn't ready enough. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
*Nintendo wants their games to be family friendly. (Oooh Resident Evil 4!)
*Nintendo has already told you we are not releasing Epona, either of the Japan only MOTHER games, or The Kraken. Stop asking.
*Nintendo worships Mario and the Triforce of Pokeballs. Stop asking for Kirby, Megaman, and Sonic.
*No, we have no control over how obscure our REAL office is. You know, the one without the big noticeable sign. You will never find it.
*Any of the above reasons, and..... "Reggie Fil-Aimes is not in right now. He is at a meeting, it will last all day today, tomorrow, yesterday, and the rest of his life. Please hang up or we will find you."
