I looked and found nothing. Unless there's a conspiracy in this forum about the locked shed in A Wonderful Life, I'd like to know was it still in the PS2 special edition of the game? or in the another wonderful life game? (been a while since I played that one) As well as if anyone has any ideas what it was meant for or what they would have liked it to be for.
The shed would have been a cool greenhouse or maybe even an outdoor hot spring. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) |

What is this shed you speak of.
I own the PS2 special edition version. I'll turn on my game and check out my farm. |

There was this grey shed that was locked up all game in the original gamecube edition of A Wonderful life. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) It just stood at the edge near your large field appearing ominous at night....

In the Special Edition and Another Wonderful Life I think too, you can turn it into a chicken coop. I never use it though, I think, as it takes so long to move the chickens, especially as it can start raining in the middle of the day.
Checking back in an old new file I started ages ago when it's still there, seems like you still can't interact with it either. Maybe that's where Murrey lives. |

Hahahaha Murrey has the key and stores all his food and towels there. That's interesting that you can turn it into a chicken coop. Though there was already one so why do you need two? Unless its for the rare ducks. :o

There's ducks?
I don't know. It's even further away than the pasture, also. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) |

I've meaning to reply with my memory of ducks these days. During one of the years after your child is born Van sells you ducks. Of course you needed to have the pond built first though. I remember being too lazy to buy ducks and then finding out it was too late. So I had a useless pond in the pasture but hey I can always pretend the cows get their water from there. X)
To keep this back on topic that grey shed was really a waste of space on the farm. DX |

In the official Japanese guide for AWL, they acknowledge the shed in an unusual way. (At least, I think this is the shed we're talking about...)
There was a sub-plot set out in the comics about Pete (their name for the Mineral Town protagonist) capturing Takakura and usurping his role. Pete then adopts the name "Takapira." Throughout the guide, Takapira gives his "advice" to Mark (the AWL protagonist) who, fortunately, is smart enough to realise that Takapira is, well, quite insane. At the end, it's revealed that Takakura was locked up in that shed!! Yep, the shed was good for hiding a hostage, I guess... |

whut is this :0 That's like Gil trapping people in his basement. It could be where Gill got the idea. =O I do wonder where Mr. Matsuyama (the artist) got the idea to put Takakura in the shed though... The shed's lack of purpose in the original version of the game must have been a joke in the office or something. Oh, and maybe I should see if I can dig out my book and take a pic of that comic. I wish I had a scanner, but a photo'll have to do. |

Found the book. Sorry for the poor quality of the pictures; I have a very unsteady hand and no scanner...
At the very beginning of the book, we have this: (IMG:http://oi60.tinypic.com/x51o5t.jpg) Someone pretending to be a Harvest Sprite attacks Takakura! Takapira then appears to, uh, "guide" Mark. (Love how Mark is tied up during the tour of the farm, lol.) At the end: (IMG:http://oi60.tinypic.com/2uzt9wg.jpg) Takakura had been in that shed for 30 years!! He finally broke out, and is none too happy. |
