Over the Thankgsiving holidays, I was able to pick up KH 1.5 ReMix for $20 from the Square-Enix store. I'm really excited about it, but I do have one concern -- do you think I should still pick up and play through 358/2 Days and play through it, or will I get all of the story that I need through the cutscenes available in this game?

Uh.... as someone who's been through both... it depends on what you want. If you just want the story, then the cutscenes and text explanations in 1.5 are enough to get you by. If you want to delve a bit deeper into the personalities of the organization members, you're gonna have to play the game all the way through. Their personalities are represented a lot better in this game than they were in CoM (save for maybe Larxene, who got to show us more of her personality than most of the characters in CoM) and KH2, and all of that dialogue is either optional or non-cutscene dialogue. Unless you're a huge Org fan, I really don't recommend playing 358/2 Days, because it's monotonous as hell.

I'm not a big KH fan in general, but I enjoyed the game. I just don't want to be clueless if I don't play that game. If you're saying it's more intricate details though, it sounds like I'll be good without. I'm looking forward to going through it though and then picking up 2.5 when that comes along. :)
