My family's got an early start on it, tree's up and all that, couple of presents.
Anyone got ideas yet of what they'd want to get [for other people] this year? :d |

We've just set up our tree tonight, though it's without decorations. As far as presents go, I'm pretty sure I've gotten just about everything... was thinking about going ahead and wrapping them to get that festive look started.

Well, I'm still waiting for some things to arrive, but we'll be putting up the tree over the weekend and I should get the chance to wrap things within the next couple of weeks.
I doubt we'll do much decoration outside of the tree, though. We'll have our stockings up, of course, and maybe a few extraneous Santa Claus things. |

You're putting your tree up already? Seems quite early to me. Or do we just set it up relatively close to Christmas? I think I remember last year we putting it up only a few days beforehand.
And, yeeeeah. I don't get presents for other people. I'm cheap. :[ I don't have the money to anyway. |

My family waits usually until a week or two before Christmas Day to put up the tree. We also put lights outside on the edges of the roofs.
Gift wise, this year is kind of lame. I'm asking for a few XBox360 games, and possibly some 3DS games to start up my library, but I'm not really sure. I realize having a job may be cool because I can buy things, but then it sucks because I have money to buy things I want and I then have nothing to ask for. |

I have plenty of things to ask for even with money. My parents just won't buy them because you can't get them from a physical store based in the US that they can drive to. It makes building a Christmas list really hard.

We usually don't get the tree this soon. My mom wasn't even planning to get one last year until we insisted that we didn't grow out of it.
