So, a while back I was playin' through my Special Edition copy. I decided that because I had never much paid attention to influencing my son's career choice before, I would spend my time sculpting my vision of the perfect son. Later on, I played through my old Gamecube copy only to find that unlike the updated version of the game, I can't track my son's interests and skills in the Asset Menu.
What am I supposed to do now? How do I know if I'm influencing my son correctly?.. Any help would be greatly appreciated!~ :) |

It's all just guessing, I guess. Just constantly do things that guide your son into the career you wish for him to pursue.

It really is frustrating how certain game features arn't featured in the "same game but different console" games. I'm glad I could help.

Well there are some ways to tell. Once he is older it is pretty obvious from the things he says. Also the items in his room give a clue to what he is interested in.
Like if there are metal sheets he likes art (he is being like Cody who is a metal sculptor). Or if he has weights in his room he has an interest in being an athlete. I married Nami and it was super easy to tell I was changing my son's interest into what I wanted. He would always talk about Cody and other stuff I didn't like. But then I worked hard to get him into farming and now he goes on about Marlin (or maybe it was Vesta. Whatever) and how "plants never hurt anyone". Hehe he's kind of a depressing kid X3. |
