Sorry for the double post, but here's all that happend the first part of Fall so far.
I recieved the strange sickle from Gustafa who I guess I befriended some how for being nice and saying his music sounded nice, but really that's all I ever said to him... I guess he's one of the easier people to befriend haha. I also befriended Dayrl and finally got that seed maker so I guess I'm done talking to him haha. It rained just about every day so I really didn't have to water my melons which was fine by me, and also I found out that good fodders effect only lasts for a short period of time... so my budget is pretty much crap again. I recieved my 3rd hen which I named Cluck and I've noticed that once you get a new bird in the coop that their egg schedule gets thrown off a bit. I only plan to order one more hen for the year simply because I forget how many birds you can have in the coop (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) I'm trying to befriend Galen a bit before the year ends because of you know what happens in the next chapter which makes him really untalkable to unless you talked to him quite a bit before the year ended. I'm also trying to befriend Tim a bit, and slightly Van I guess? I just talk to Van whenever without gifts, and Tim won't take my gifts that I offer. I'm getting a bit sick of hearing Breeze though so I'm considering starting a new file on FoMT to run along with this so I can get some better music. I also attended the Harvest Festival, but I'm not really sure if that boosts your friendship levels with anyone for attending the 4 festivals of the year that are super small and just cut scenes anyways. 2 of them you aren't even told about unless you actually look it up or find it on accident which would be the Summer and Winter festival where you just go to Gustafas and listen to him play guitar. That's about it for this first half of Fall I suppose, I'm kind of just wanting this year to end so I can start working with my son on some things like influencing him to be a rancher. |

You could've ordered a hen and rooster, then used the fertilized eggs to get more hens.
And if I remember right, you can hold eight poultry in the coop. |

True, but I didn't want to get a male chicken that I'd have to sell. I hate that disappointing scene they make you watch.
Alright last half of fall, and I guess quite a bit happend. I got a rooster who I named Roy. Also I saw 2 events involving Dayrl and his hunt of the Mufumufu (hope I spelt that right) all of which were unsuccessful. The first I triggered by accident when I switched records late at night after getting tired of hearing Breeze all the time. I decided I would connect to FoMT to get more songs, but I haven't seen Van sell any of the new records. Might be the fact that I started a new FoMT just to get some new tunes so I had remotely nothing done on the game. Oh and another thing I found is read your seed packs very carefully... I took a whole night (stayed up till 1 game time after starting at like 7pm game time) planting the entire fertile field and half of the very fertile fields with turnips in the fertile and strawberries and potatoes in the very fertile. 18 of each types of seeds... Unfortunately I forgot that I was supposed to save the potatoes until winter... Eh I got 18 more to replant later, all of which I need to sell to refund that lost profit. I've been scavenging a lot more, but all of my profit goes towards farm stuff now, and I need to save up to get some MP for either Tammy or Betty this winter. More than likely though it'll be Tammy so I can earn slightly more of a profit than I would from Betty, and in summer I'll use MP on Betty so I have atleast a 2 season interval so I can make sure both calves get proper support and time in the calf hutch. I've got a bad feeling though that I'll be selling calves to save room in my barn... Looks like I'll have to watch that scene and feel guilty quite a lot. If only you could hold more animals in the barn then this wouldn't happen. Also I forgot to mention but I decided to buy a set of regular tools so I can work more without tiring. That's about all and this year is finally coming to an end soon here. I can't wait so I can finally just start staying more at home and working where I'll actually have a son to influence in the mean time. Won't be hard either since all I'll be taking him to is the barn, pasture, and chicken coop and showing him the animals. Hopefully he'll be a rancher and take over in the future. |

Well I just finished Winter and I guess I forgot to post the first half, but really there's enough here to just mash it all together.
Alright Winter... Well I got some S milk from my cow until she failed me and ran dry, so I had just about no animal work to do for the last half of Winter. I got her some MP and now she's prego. Of course Tammy was too young which sucked because I would have made more off her milk, but oh well this Summer will work for her to get some MP. I planted my potatoes again and made good money off of them, which was a huge improvement compared to living off 3 eggs a day for money. My strawberries also came in, but I only sold half of those so I could cook with a few. I saw 2 more of Dayrls attempts to capture Mukumuku again unsuccessful like everything else he does, well besides making that seed maker. I also bought all of the light tools and large watering can since I'll be working with plants a lot more while I wait for my cow to give birth. I also saw the winter festival, which I had forgotten gives you a pretty awesome view of the sky at night. Pretty nice to watch, but it bugs me that all festivals in this game are really just cut scenes. Oh well. I guess that's all I really have to say about this first Chapter. On to Chapter 2... I've decided to name my son Luke and I guess that's all I can really say about that for now. |

Alright first half of Spring in Chapter 2.
Still getting used to staying on my farm so much due to the amount of work I'm doing in the fields now. My son is already taking an interest in animals it appears and I find him taking trips around the farm already, whether it be in the barn, coop, or tool shed. I show him the animals everyday out in the pasture, and I occassionally show him an egg or so. As most of you know Nina passes away, and Galen is generally untalkative too for a while after her death. He doesn't want to talk much, but since I spent the last half of Year 1 befriending him he gave me the Fishing Rod G almost immeditely after talking to him in his home. I still drop by his house everyday to see how long it actually takes for him to get back to normal. I saw a few more Dayrl events, one of him trying to capture the Mukumuku again, and another of him trying to steal a cow of mine. Another cutscene I've encountered was Grant's promotion which I didn't expect to see for a while, but I guess I got it right off the bat. My income now is mainly off my chickens for shipping products, but I'm going to try to ship a ton of milk so I don't get the cutscene at the end of the chapter about your wife worrying about the farm since you don't ship alot. I'm currently trying to get the alarm clock from Grant, but I forgot how you trigger the scene. I know you have to enter his house at a certain time, but I forget when and which season the scene occurs in. I guess that's everything for now. I'd like to see this a little more active rather than just a log of my gameplay entirely (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) But I guess it's just whenever you get around to it. I think I might try to go for chapter 3 as a stopping point for this Let's Play, but I can't really promise that. The farthest I've ever been in the game was chapter 4, and I don't even know how I managed that to be honest. So chapter 3 is the goal here I guess, if not atleast into year 2 of chapter 2. |

I like how I've never even talked to Grant and he gave me the clock the day or two after he moved in.
Oh! And about the chickens, you could've reset the game if you hatched a rooster. I think if you put the egg in the incubator first thing in the morning when you get it, you'll wake up to the event where the Harvest Sprites want you to name it. If it's a rooster, you can reset the game, simple as you please. It really doesn't matter because they're not all expensive. I just wanted to know why you were buying them. |

Ah true, I never really thought of that to be honest haha. That was just the main reason I bought them.

I remember you can trigger the alarm clock scene way in the morning. Right when you wake up, you have to go and get to Grant's house when he is still in his house in the morning before he leaves for work.

Alright thanks Z, that might be hard since I have to do a good bit in the morning and have my character wake up between 4-5:30 every day. I know Grant leaves really early in the morning so that might be tricky to get. Oh well I'll give it a shot before Spring ends.

Catch him when he comes back from work then. I unintentionally triggered the event when I was staying up late. I walked out of my house and bam! he was there.
Edit: Oh, yeah, stalk him back home. Just try this once; it could be a glitch on my part for all I know, because this only happened one time. |

Um I don't really know why, but I found the need to do a different file for a while I guess. The game is long enough without me switching off, but for some reason I feel the need to marry Celia on a new file too. I'll basically do all the same stuff for the first year, actually scratch that I think I'll be setting up more plants so I can start shipping out 3rd generation crops a lot sooner (getting Tartan and befriending him quickly, if you have a tip on how to befriend Tartan then let me know.) and having a smaller number of livestock. I'll try to just get through the first chapter quickly without wasting your time, and I guess my last bit was just a waste of time. I'll try to alternate a bit I suppose, but no promises. I'll post some stats on my newer file on the first post, and if you can think of some good Celia son names I'll think it over and consider naming my son that. I've already done Josh, so that one is out. Er I guess that's it, as always your free to post along with me, and if you want to start over then go ahead and join me.

You should keep going with this!
Also Josh is a great name for Celia's son. He's so cute. :) |

Some one actually looked at this after so long? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) I didn't expect anyone to look at this really. I guess I could try to start it back up within this week. Feel free to join and do a log of your gameplay too if you like.

Hey, HMR: I'll probably join you, too, once I finish my playthrough of HM64. (And I'm almost done with that. Just a season or two to go.)

I definitely never finished my game. And I believe my sister sold it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Now, I'm urged to restart. Maybe I'll buy it and play again when I also rebuy ToT this week. Aha.
