Only a few days away now. I think we're sure to see more of the Vita, 3DS and Wii U as well as many of these titles
Is there anything in particular you're looking forward to? Anything you're hoping for? Suikoden VI. This year is the year. |

There's already been some mention of stuff from various companies already but so far it's been stuff that's been expected. Here's hoping for Phantasy Star Online 2 getting an official announcement for outside Japan during the event proper...
Also, Nintendo is doing a pre-E3 show tomorrow. http://www.nintendo.com/nintendo_direct;js...5C6FA77DFAEA360 |

For me, my main interests are Versus XIII and pretty much anything Vita-related. I'd love to see some good RPGs for the system.
EDIT: After looking at that list I was reminded of several other things I wanted to see. I've been looking forward to Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for at least a year. I also want to see stuff on Animal Crossing, Tomb Raider, and Dead or Alive 5. |

I'm close to giving up on Versus XIII, we've had so little information despite it being announced 6 years ago that I have to wonder if it'll ever be released. The only Square announcement I'm interested in is sleeping dogs which comes out in two months anyway

That's why I'm hoping to see something on it this year. If they don't show anything on it at all this week, the game's going to be so far into development helk that they might as well cancel it.
The last news we had regarding the game were the official costume designs made by that retarded fashion designer they partnered with... and that information came out.... a few months ago, I think? Yeah, but I'm darn close to giving up on it myself. I just really, really don't want to. |

Nintendo Direct's pre-E3 show starts in about 20 minutes. Maybe they'll mention a US release for Fire Emblem: Awakening finally...

No games mentioned makes me sad. Controller redesign and other features are okay I guess. But unless this thing does even MORE crap they didn't mention, hopefully that means the E3 conference is primarily just games. Games and games and games.

But old dudes are so wise.
Also, it is kinda interesting they have a video chat feature at all. In fact, it's SUPER interesting because that means that the Nintendo Ninjas are probably watching you through it... all... the time... |

Microsoft pulled out a live performance by Usher during their press conference. ._.
What the waffles man. Also, there's apparently going to be a South Park game. One thing I do know is that it'll likely be funny at the very least. |

The South Park game has been known about for a while. s'being made by Obsidian, which is basically a company full of a bunch of oldie PC RPG gods.

So far E3 2012 isn't giving me any crazy moments where I beginning demanding for things they show. I guess we'll have to see what Sony and Nintendo has to show off. I'm very excited for Nintendo's, like every year.
Did you guys hear the next 3DS might be announced for Summer release? Apparently, it's just a larger model with bigger screens. |

Nintendo direct showed some WiiU features. It was delicious. A black controller was shown.

And here I thought it was just as lame as the Wii U was last year, even in black. (Oh, and then there was the Xbox controller for Wii U that they announced...)
But I dunno. I'm not a huge Nintendo fan. They have very few first party games that I really like, and they keep pissing me off with their retarded ###### gimmicks. |

Assassin's Creed III looks really good, I was going to skip it because while I loved II I thought Brotherhood and Revelations were pretty poor but the coverage has convinced me to give it more of a look closer to release

I liked the trailer for Watch Dogs. Though cover shooting is yet another tedious thing that just HAS to show up in every game, all the little gadget-y tricks looked fun. If you can deal with objectives in multiple ways using that, then it's probably worth at least a cursory glance.

Sony press conference in an hour. helk yes.
Oh, just on game trailers in general, I really liked the trailer for Ni no Kuni. I've known about the game for a little while, but I wasn't really all that excited until I actually saw a trailer for it. Studio Ghibli + Joe Hisaishi + PS3? YES. PLEASE. |
