So what are your favorite Rune Factory Openings as well as opinions? It can be your favorite song or favorite intro sequence, also it doesn't have to be just the openings but the second (or ending) songs as well.

My favorite song has got to be the Rune Factory 3 opening. As well as the second version. I liked how the opening (1st version not second) did not even show Micah with Shara unlike the rest of the other Rune Factory openings who tend to show the "main" girl. (at least for the portable versions)

Rune Factory 2 was alright for me in terms of intro sequence though the song wasn't really my taste. Same goes for Frontier, I really liked the running sequence of Raguna running through those sunflowers.

To be honest, I reeeeallly dislike what they did to the girl opening for Oceans. The male hero has a mysterious intro while the girl gets a very (girly in my opinion) bubbly intro.

The one thing I wished they got rid of in the intro are those butterflies. They seem to appear in most of the openings. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

I like the canonical feeling, being paired with one girl, but I do think screen time for all of them is good. And running sequences are always cool. Raguna running through crops, and my favroutie part from the Rune Factory 3 openings is when Micah runs past all the girls in the plane. Everytime I watch it, it's just "owo" face.

Anyway, I'm terrible at picking favourites and is something I try to avoid, so I'll just say aspects that I like. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
And what I do like is when an opening has movement - I feel like the newest one, and the Oceans opening is more focused on pretty stills, and while stills are pretty, I think I prefer to watch something like the Frontier opening that I think is more of an "active" picture. And as for songs, while you may dislike Sonia's bubbly opening, I think it's really catchy. I've hummed it on the way to school before. "Waratte~ Waratte~ Dadadaaadadadaaaa~" I think it's simplicity and all is cute, too. I don't know what sort of a character Sonia really is as I don't own Oceans yet, but I think it suits her.

Same goes for songs, no favourite, but I also like the original version (I think?) of the opening from the first Rune Factory.

Anyway, I like all of them, sooo. X]

Lord Ranchstory why are your servers such crap tonight

MANY ATTEMPTS AT POSTING LATER:

Gear: Eh. I don't like Sonia's song, but Charmy is right, it does fit her.
You'll like Sonia, Charmy.

SPEAKING OF CHARMY, RESPONSE TIME:
I do agree that some of the more recent openings have had rather still-ish animations, however I do not agree that Rune Factory 4's is the same.

It's not completely still, but as you said it's not exactly breathtakingly dynamic either. I think it fits a rather nice balance, though. If it were too dynamic, you wouldn't pay attention to the music, and if it were too still you'd be bored by the whole thing and the music would stick out too much.

I really like how well pieced together all of the RF openings are. It seems as if the music flows nicely with the animations. Like, in places that the music seems intense, so are the animations. But that may just be me, since I listen to them so often. x}

ALSO, DID SOMEONE SAY BUTTERFLIES IN OPENINGS?

Because Persona has plenty.
