Hometown Story had gotten it's official release date recently. October 22nd. Don't know if anyone's keeping up with the game's news.

It's getting four different bonuses. Three are Ember the dragon plushes. They come in different colors depending on where you order; Gamestop is green, Amazon gets red, and the Natsume Store offers a yellow colored one. The Natsume Store also offers the "Collector's Edition" which has a large Pochica plush instead. Heads up to whoever wants the preorders.

This can be a general discussion thread of it, too.

I've been forgetting to keep up with it, oops! D:

Do they have an official website up now, too?

They have this, and Natsume has their's with an English trailer at the bottom.

Check out the girl that talked in icons. Is she an alien or what?

Ah, okay. Thanks. :D

Haha, I remember seeing that trailer a while ago. I don't know why it's like that.
Anyway, I'm still interested in the games. Once I have a 3DS, I'll check out the feedback first, but I'll probably buy it.

Huh... according to those sites, the US is getting that game almost two months before Japan is. Natsume's got a release date of October 22, 2013, and Japan's got a release date of December 12, 2013. Was it developed here in the US rather than in Japan or something?

I had a quick look but I have no idea, that's weird. o-o
Anyway, I came by that there's three marriagable/dateable? characters for each gender. I didn't know that there was marriage in this game, so that's nice.

The date was the first thing I noticed on the JPN site. Even knowing that it's being released the 22nd of this month for NA, I still ended up double checking everything because I thought it was odd when I saw it. It's being developed by Toybox, which I thought I read was in Tokyo. Maaaybe they now have a Japanese and an American HQ since then and used the American offices. It doesn't really make much sense otherwise, but I'm not complaining.

Yep, three marriageables each. They said it might seem like a small selection, but they wanted to focus on making them special.

The 'announcement' of marriage candidates weren't until last month, I think, and mostly everyone thought there weren't going to be any. Including myself.

I don't know much of what it's about aside from running a shop (never really thought of looking it up), but I have to say, the art style's pretty interesting.
