SOOO anyway I recently got the blue bell. I had to go up to 40,000 G to buy the telephone TO buy SEEDS (corn), at the General Store. Despite that, I called my sister and she didn't know of this. There IS, another way... Buying the summer seed mix. She bought 20, and for corn, three were obtained I believe. This is necessary to help the Witch regain her appearance for the Green Bell. I just found it tedious and slightly boring to wait for the General Store to upgrade to level 2.

Corn + Watermill = Cornmeal.

My sister is still in Spring and hasn't even rung the Red Bell yet! -sigh- I'm already past the four bells and the last one is the purple bell, which would take longer as you have to have at least 3 hearts with 10 people. D:

It's not so hard, especially when you're on a roll. Gather tons of herbs, and make a ton of herbal tea. There are a ton of people who have that as loved gifts.

I'm bad at consistently giving people gifts. Well, more than one person I guess, because I give the bachelor I want to marry a gift every day. Anyways, I'll be good at giving out the gifts for, like, two days, then just stop.
And about the glasses thing: I wear glasses and I absolutely hate them. I'm getting contacts soon though. And I can be shy around people, but that was wayyyy before I even GOT glasses.

I finally rung the Purple Bell some days ago and honestly, I think making friends in this game is incredibly easier (that is, easier then DS Cute or MM or something)

I think it is easier to make friends in AP then in DS Cute, but it was really easy for me to make friends in MM.

It's really interesting, I thought I would get the Hero Status which is quite difficult to get in Spring once I have everything done. I even planned it out (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) But darn I was surprised when I already got the Hero Rank at the end of Winter without realizing it -pats herself on the back- haha, it must be from the excessive mining.

Ahhhh~ Does anyone know how to trigger the first rival event for Calvin and Phoebe? I got her up to 4 hearts, and its in the upper mine. I walked on the first floor, nothing happened, and I went up to the fifth floor, and nothing happened either. Am I doing something wrong? The timing is right :<

*I just got 4 hearts with her. And it didn't work. Should I be in the 1st floor of the upper mine? I go in there in the right time and it doesn't happen.
