I'm not sure.
The hilltop is kind of closer to the mine which is probably the best way to get money in the beginning of the game and is also the closest to the hot springs.
But I also like the town one too.

I know the hilltop is perfect! Plus I think your house is put in a nice area. The island one can just fit 12 more squares than the hilltop one, and it's too far especially for the beggining! Youre gonna go to the town like everyday, so its best to be close.

I think it will be hilltop for me. But it depends on which area has the most fertile soil because that's how I get all my money in HM games.

You can make any place the most fertile. Just use fertilizer

I know but fertilizer is a hassle for me and its not free. Also at the beginning of the game its a little difficult to get money. I'd rather just have the soil be fertile from the start. Its easier.

Nope, there is just a small slope going up to your house, on the beach plot.

You can buy all of the original options for plots of land plus another one.
