I always try to clean up my farm a bit (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) Then Plant some crops until I can afford a few Chickens (IMG:style_emoticons/default/jack_smile.gif) But I usually have a lot of crops throughout the game. I also go and gather wild crops to raise a bit of extra money

That's not really multitasking if you're doing it in sequential order.

I'm definetly the romantic type (in HM, not in real life (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ). I view everything else in the game -crops, animals, mining, fishing- just as things that lead up to you getting married.

The animal chores do get boring. The Witch Princess is fun 'cause she gives you an excuse to débarasse 50 animals.

The flirty type. That's a very important thing about Harvest Moon, the bachelors.
That's probably why I'm not doing very well in HM DS... |

I multitask alot. at the beginning I get the money to buy me a few barns and a chicken coop or 2. when im done with my farming I go out to flirt. except for the bachelors I never give towns folk presents. then I struggle with marrying and such.
the first time I played harvest moon (anwl) was a nightmare. I rented it and didnt read the intruction book. so when I started I planted like 5 strawberries my cow died farely quickly. by the time I got to 3rd year (married to rock) (the 2nd day I had the game) I had the money to get 1 tree...I got it and planted and watered my mom and dad were watching me and my dad said that my life wasnt very successful (dont remember exact words) and so he made a file on my game and showed me how to play (he had read instruction book) then after 3 game days of him playing I took it back and did much better (think I married gustafa) man that was a mouthful (IMG:style_emoticons/default/weirdsmile.gif) |

Well, I really LIKE the whole marriage-thing, but I usually get blindsided by monetary needs. Then I just get greedy. ("Hey, I spent forever raising these crops, now gimme mai money!") Though I do raise a lot of crops (generally the multiproduce, like tomato and corn, especially if there are greenhouses/caves and such), I much prefer the animals. Especially sheep (and the Woolies)! Once you started to get the option of cooking in the games, I mainly just raised crops to make cool foods (why is this sentence in past-tense?).
But once I start getting lots of money, I realise there are townpeople again and start befriending them, deciding which girl/boy I want to marry. I usually go with a combination of prettiest/easiest to deal with. Basically, I am very simple-minded when I farm and generally am not a very good farmer. Haha. |

Hmmmmm.....I guess I'm a mix between them all.....I always start off with a small thing of crops though...it took me about 2 years to even start getting chickens in HMDS....Really because they're so time consuming... but trying to marry Keria is even more x_x...so many trips to floor 255....*shivers* I just had to try to start a second file...why....why did I have to accidentally delete it....And I'm trying to marry her ag- oh I'm getiing way off topic....
I don't really start flirting until I feel like marrying... which is normally in year 2 or 3..... For the animals....I try to get the maximum....mostly cows......They seem the most profitable to me... |

I like to do things one by one. I'm always concentrating on getting married and making friends. What I always do in my games is get ONE animal, and keep that animal until it's completely happy and at it's highest heart level, then I get another animal! I plant alot of crops, then go SHOPPING! lol. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) That's what I've been doing on FoMT lately, anyway.

I usually talk to townspeople and forage at the beginning until I have enough money for a chicken. Then I hatch lots of eggs while flirting for better animals. And when I get a kitchen and have eggs and milks I normally cook puddings and stuff for even more money then what they were already worth. And then after all that I plant 8 sqaures of crops and only have that one amount for ever. I get sick of watering them, but then again, I have to talk, feed, brush animals but I don't get bored of that (?).
And if there's trees half way through the first year I start planting them, water them for a little bit then I never have to water them again! Useful... And Rayne, my parents are hopeless at Harvest Moon. They don't get one thing... (IMG:http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q731/Vether/egg2copy_zps24c68cc5.png) |

I really multi task compared to some of the people here...I like having the whole farm experiences....planting a lot of crops, having as many animals as possible, mining, fishing, gathering, and flirting a little bit...
For some reason I also gather and keep one of every item I can find besides wood and stones....You never know when you may need them.... |

I keep one of everything too. I have to have my barn full and have at least 30 of each vegtable in my fridge. But I was being short and sweet.

I wonder why we do that...I keep a lot of crops and animal products in the fridge so I can make everything at least once...
I have to have my barn and chicken coop both full otherwise....well...I make it then (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) |
