I would say Bleach and Inuyasha. Those are the two I watch, there pretty cool.

I know, aren't you just so glad to see me! anyway, I have only seen one episode of Mai Hime and totally forgot to watch more. It seemed pretty good though. Actually is avatar of yours from Ichigo 100%? It kinda reminds me of it with the strawberry... oh also Gantz is pretty good too, the ending is not too great, but I liked the show. I wouldn't recommend it to a younger audience though..

Only animes I could stand to watch were FLCL, the one with the french thief made in the 70's, and the one with the little kid detective who solved murder mysteries. I forgot the names of those two but I'm sure someone will correct me in like 5 minutes.

Yeah, that was the name, that one was hillarious. A lot of animes seem so serious and the characters too whiney, plus too much fantasy physics that you have to know about for any of it to make sense.

The detective kid had an inner monologue with an older voice, kinda like the Wonder Years, and he hung out a lot with some high school lookin chick a lot.

Lupin the 3rd is a classic. There's a bazillion movies, manga, anime, and all sorts of crap. Castle of Cagliostro is probably the best anime movie I've ever seen.

edit: The reason the kid had an older voice was that he WAS older. He got poisoned and his body shrunk. He hangs out with the high school girl because her dad's a (bad) detective and he hopes to maybe use that to find the people who shrunk him.

What was it called though? Actually I guess it doesn't matter cuz they don't seem to play it on Adult Swim anymore.

I've seen parts of an F-Zero anime but from what it seemed, there's no dub or subtitles or anything so I probably won't be able to enjoy it (I freakin' love F-Zero).

Death Note and Bleach are both good....Bleach has about 180 eps out in Japan and 70 sumthing in America....deepening on how much time you have...Bleach is a good one if you have a lot of free time to watch and Death Note has a mear 26 episodes if you a short one....

This probably already settled but one more you should maybe read is Basilisk. It's graphic, lots of blood and nudity, but I remember the art being good..? It's been a long time, I can't tell you much about it, it was a friends copy of the series and I mainly lingered over her shoulder. However, from what I remember and what I've read it might be something you'd like? The description it gives makes it sound a little boring but the books always looked awesome. I was just never one for action mangas.

Why dont try something new? Yozakura quartet seems nice or how about xxx holic (I love this anime)... or maybe the Melancoly of Haruhi Suzumiya are very interesting...
