For the girls... eh, Pat. She's really boring and and the whole "Nouuuu" thing she says at the end of the sentences rings in my ears. It isn't actually spoken, but oh lawdy, I can hear it in my head and it's so annoying. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/emot-gonk.gif)

For guys, Calvin, Luke, Ose, and Won. Calvin is just odd, I would get into a million huge arguments with Luke so I won't even go there, Ose isn't too bad but belongs in the friend zone, and Won... I don't dislike him or anything, but his lines are incredibly cheesy. "I'm a doctor and I've caught the disease of love! oh noes, I can't cure it!!" o_o;

It makes me kind of sad to see that the majority of people don't like Calvin & Pat--I actually kind of like them. In fact, Calvin is probably my most preferred candidate at the moment; who wouldn't love a Harrison Ford look-alike? 8D

But for those I'm not fond of, Kotomi. The whole shy, oh-hi-run-away person really gets on my nerves. And PLUS she gets JULI? I don't even see the logic in it. Perhaps I'm just jealous. :[ As for guys, I picked Tao, just because he looks so… normal. I always go for the like, exciting guys. Plus I just have a feeling he'd always give me fishing/Confucious expressions relating to life in a really cheesy way. Iunno why. xD

I'unno, I was rather disappointed while translating Pat's dialogue. I really wanted to like her, but... that and the "NouuUUUuuuuUUuuu" is unbearable. It always makes me think of this guy I used to know, Yuuto, who would impersonate the stereotypical old Japanese man. "So your grandson got married? That's wonderful nooUUuuuUuuUU~~" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/emot-gonk.gif)

Calvin's personality is so-so... he's not very exciting but still pretty nice. Again, there's something about the way he talks that makes me uncomfortable somehow. O_o

But Kotomi x Juli is the cutest rival couple... the logic is that Juli thinks that Kotomi hates him for what he did when they were younger, and is trying to win her trust back, and Kotomi really likes him, but he makes her feel like a fool. It's so sad, that I'm going to have to break them apart multiple times. ;-;

I just realized why Calvin's way of talking bothers me. It's just like Akio from Revolutionary Girl Utena. I can imagine them having the same voice. And now I can only picture Calvin flipping over car hoods shirtless. D: haha. I would still marry Calvin much sooner than I would marry Luke, though.

I was quite fixed on Luke for a while- until I read his translations. He really does seem full of himself- at least at first. I'm hoping that changes after you get to know him better.

The only person in the game I would never marry is Pat. Some people have a thing for nerdy girls with glasses, but I prefer your traditional "sexy" types like Cathy and Sheila. Even Gil has a chance with me if he just stops threatening to lock me in his basement. (See my "Creepy" thread if you don't get it).

Eh, I'm not a big fan of Pat... she kind of reminds me of Patty O'Green, one of the Colour Kids from Rainbow Brite. (Okay, maybe it's just the name, the green hair and the tomboy-ish-ness... wat?)

I didn't vote against him, but I'm not a big fan of Calvin... too hairy! Also I don't think I'll like Ose. He's too buff for me, and the way his pants meet his boots .... bothers me. Haha. That's stupid.

Aww, there's too much Luke-hate up there. At this point he's the only one I like, since I refuse to marry any character with a rival, and I don't like Gil or Ose. Like Nurse Fin said about Ose, they belong in the friend zone. And besides, Luke reminds me of an awesome 9-year-old who I never get to play with anymore, since my family moved.

As for girls, I wouldn't marry any of them but Cathy. Cathy's awesome and, once again, she's the only one I like that doesn't have a rival. I like Leena, but I feel bad breaking up her and Tao since the rival couples actually have kids in this game...
