A while back my brother and I found this place that has like, practically every game ever used and they can get brand new ones. While we were there, for $8 each he picked up Metroid Prime and I got F-Zero GX (amazingly awesome but ridiculously hard, still haven't unlocked everything). My brother also was diggin through a big tub of SNES games and the guy who runs the place told him to just dump the whole tub out on the floor. They also sell audio equipment and TVs and stuff but that's less important, because I'm pretty sure I can replace my long lost copy of Kid Icarus for Game Boy one of these days and probably for like $5.
Anyone else have awesome stories where you found something awesome for like, dirt cheap? side note: for DPB, they didn't have Earthbound in but if they did I would probably be able to get it for like nothing, despite it's ebay price |

I'm not sure what this is. Is it a "give me ideas of what games to look out for" topic or what? And audio equipment is always important.

I have store like that about a 20 minute walk from my university. We know the guy fairly well and stop in whenever we're near there. There's just a ton of memories at that store. I've seen games from before I was born, even the golden Zelda NES game D: I remember one time popping in there and seeing the owner playing through Pokemon Red trying to catch a Mew without Gameshark <3 He actually did it, despite trying to prove that it was impossible. Amazing. I noticed he had Pokemon Crystal there too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) I only ever bought one thing from the store which was a Pokemon comic, which cost about $3. It was just stuff from the first few episodes, but man, it's amazing to just randomly pull out of my backpack on occasion <3

Ha, I just figured you'd be like "if you didn't pick up Earthbound for those prices, well, you're an idiot" or something
Yeah, audio equipment is pretty important actually, I did buy a new CD player for my car since the one I had sucked pretty bad and took forever to start reading discs. The new one has an always important auxillary port in the front and that was pretty much the main reason to get it |

My local Game Crazy has loads of classic games for cheap, but they're a complete ripoff if you're trying to sell some games there. Sold three games there, and got $12.
They've got a pretty good selection, too. |

s'why you don't sell to such places. Nothing but ripoffs. They'll pay you 4$ for an item and turn around and sell it for $25.

I found Nox in a charity shop for £3...
And an old Ultima box set for 50p... And when I bought Disciples it was something like £2... |
