"ctds" = It's official. They're making a remake of Chrono Trigger for the DS.

This is the most lovely news I've heard from Squarenix in YEARS. YEEEEARS. Finally, they're doing something right and amazing and NOT just Final Fantasy.

I wanna import it, but I'll probably also want to get it on the US release date, so I can wear my Marle outfit or something... I swear, I never have an opportunity to wear that thing...

It's apparently just a port with some extra stuff tacked on. Something they probably could've done on the GBA. It will also be ready for US purchase by the Holiday season.

Is CT that good? I bought it along with FF1,2,4,5,6 (amazon rocks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ) but I am too busy playing the final fantasy games to play CT. Maybe I should just put them on hold (they are at best so-so after all compared to other games I have) and play it. I wonder if they will take stuff out though.

Yeah, it's pretty awesome. Unless you have the PSX version that's filled with so many load times it's not even funny. It's also relatively short, so you can get back to FF fairly quickly if you want to.

I hope it isn't that bad. I am playing Tales of Symphonia with my neighbor and their load times are incredibly fast so... I am kind of used to fast load times DX. Either way, I am going to buy the game no matter if it is a remake or new, because it seems that so many people like it and I am not odd in terms of videogame tastes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . I guess I will play it later tomorrow, because I am almost done with another one of my games (I play lots of games at the same time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) )

The NA site has updated: http://na.square-enix.com/ctds/ nothing new but an english trailer that has no new info. ;D You can visit the first site I posted for the same trailer but in japanese if you're into collecting trailers lol. Who knows if there are any CT fanboys out there >.>

Its relatively short?! Are you mad?! It's waaaaaaaaay long, like the good old games that used to be really long and gritty and hard. Of course I might just not remember well since I played it when I was a kid, still, I remember it being anything but short.

Also lol, when I read the topic I thought it was about some kind of disease, like sexually transmitted disease (std.)
