I got this game a couple months ago, and well I like it, but It makes me sad (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalacry.gif) * Sniff* The king of Daein tells his royal night to kill him, trying to realese him for A Bloodshed Pact, and I loose alot of my people, against Ike.* Sniff* I made his people to good, and now my people, go splat, DIED.
The only thing I don't like is that if one of you people die, you can never get them back. So sad indeed. * Sniff* (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalacry.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalacry.gif) * Sorry if someone has this game, and hasn't got to the part about Prince Pheleous. * |

I love this game too and beat it :D. If decided to fight the Greil mercenaries, then you obviously will be killed. YOu should just run from them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) .

I like the whole "when your unit dies, they're gone forever," thing... It makes you strategize instead of rushing into battle. Though Radiant Dawn has battle saves, and the previous games didn't. (Which was really frustrating because a character could easily get RNG-screwed, or every enemy except for the boss has been killed, but then the boss gets in a critical hit, forcing you to start the whole chapter over.) >___>
I'm the type of person who restarts every time when ANY of my units die. Even if I don't plan to use them later. I dunno... I've just thought that that was the way the game was supposed to be played, or something. You can spare Pelleas on your second playthrough and onwards. Then he'll join you later. ^_^ |

What do you mean by "spare him " I told his white night to kill him. I had read some where that he joins you, anyways, I have lost like 7 people, but they were the bad people, ( Shinion is still alive and I plan on keeping it that way )

After you beat the game once, you can start a new file on top of that. The number at the lower right hand corner of the save screen will change to one, meaning you've beaten the game one time. It'll go up every time you finish a playthrough.
On your second playthrough and onwards, you're given the typical "Obey his command" or "Pass the task onto another," but under those choices, you'll be given a new one, which is to spare him. If you pick that one, he'll join your team later on as the only dark-magic user in the game (that's on your team, that is...). As long as you don't kill him in Part 3 Endgame, I think. But that's only on your second playthrough and onwards. You have no choice but to kill him the first time you go through the game. Along with recruiting Pelleas, you're able to recruit another unit, unlock a Ike and Soren Endgame base conversation, and find out surprising information about Soren in your second pathrough and onwards... I've never had a problem with keeping Shinon alive, except for one time in Part 3 Endgame where Nolan got in a Colossus... >_> |

Really? Shinon has a high defense growth for an archer... So combined with his Provoke, he's saved a lot of my units before. <3
Just wondering, did you use Zihark? And no problem! :D Please feel free to ask me any questions. ^__^ |
