Sonic Unleashed, Will this be the game to bring Sonic back? Options

it will suck as bad as most 3d sonics, especially the werewolf aspect will suck, just make a normal sonic, with sonic,tails and knuckles oh and eggman ofcourse and then no crappy shooting or searching parts, just running and jumping will be fine thank you.

And also Ryuujin, I don't really think it will. The game will most likely have more regular sonic than his new werewolf form, and actually, it is pretty much running and jumping. Did you look at the trailers I posted in my first post under the sonic unleashed pic? And tails and knuckles are the only extra characters in the game...

Oh I thought that was just a small part of the game, still sonic the hedgehog sucked on ps3/360 so there is still a big chance this will too. (ofcourse the camera will suck as always...).

Oh and is that really true about knuckles and tails? So no gay shadow, cream, tittyslapper or whatever those new characters are called? That's nice, now the only part that I worry about is the werewolf section.

I actually don't mind Shadow. I mean hes kind of the sterotypical goodguy/badguy with attitude problem and own agenda. Like Vegeta or something. But he not too bad of a character, and he came in during SA2. Though Silver, Rush, The Birds, all other characters introduced after SA2 suck balls. They really do need to stop adding characters.

Shadow's main issue was that he had a great death and if he just stayed dead he could've stayed a great character. Now he's sorta over-saturated, annoying, not even a very good anti-hero guy who fanboys clamor around so much that that in itself makes him even more annoying. =\

Not to say he's the worst (kinda) new character or anything. Marine was the most annoying thing in the entire world.

Okay, to get one thing completely straight about shadow so we can end this. SHADOW IS AN EMO FREAK! There, everything he is all summed up into one sentence. Now then, Ryuujin, yes it is true. They have indeed gone back to those three ONLY except for the new werewolf sonic. And in order to play as werewolf sonic, the level has to be played during the night as that's the only time sonic will transform. So there probably going to have werewolf sonic moderated a great deal between him and regular sonic. Now, as far as the multiplaer part goes, they'll probablly have the other characters there, but that's going to be it.

So, does anybody else have any questions about the game they want answered?

Shadow is not emo at all. edit: Actually no, I take that back. (what I had previously written here, not the Shadow isn't emo thing, cause he isn't.)

But hey Emo is the new Gay, any unintelligent person can use it and other unintelligent people can laugh at it thinking its relevant.

I really hope this will be good, but already it saddens me. Werehog thing? Wut? Twilight Princess Sega style??
But I should just ignore the plot and any new characters. Hopefully this game won't have 101 plotholes like Heroes (like personally screwing over any decent return of Shadow without the whole "What the waffles is he???").
Didn't Sonic 2006 or whatever have a bad guy (Mephiles?) that was basically the shadow of Shadow (who is Anti-Sonic)? Seriously. o_____o

First off, to may, this game should be fairly interesting. The werewolf style they have come up with is more than likely to entice the older scenes into the game, yet still friendly enough to be a rated 10+ game. And the plothole is pretty much straightforward this time.

What I think I'll do is put the games story in my starter post to help everyone understand...

And I'm glad we've come to a quick and easy agreement tolby.

Alright look, I have played every Sonic game I know that has him in it. Including the one all about him, Shadow The Hedgehog on the Gamecube. And also, I already apologized for my emo comment, thats why I said GOTHIC instead, alright? So please just let it go. I really hate arguing, it's not my style, as you can tell. You keep you're definitions of shadow, and I'll keep mine. Do we have a deal? I don't even dislike shadow to tell the truth, I think he's one of the best characters out there, I'm just saying he ACT'S differently, that's all.
