Rune Factory Wii Options

Kyle told me this bit of informaiton, though I'm not entirely sure where he got it from...

- Effort was made to upgrade absolutely every part of the game, compared to the DS entry
- Main character: Laguna - searching for a young girl
- Takes place on the island of Tranrupia - a land where Laguna must cultivate, and pioneer
- Giant floating island appears, shaped like a whale
- The better you take care of the land, the more it will resemble a real village. People will move in, shops will open, ect.
- 2008 release in Japan

I was wondering when they'd come out with the "New" Harvest Moon. Anyways this actually looks awesome I may get it for Wii. Never really liked Rune Factory for the DS but this looks like its worth purchasing.

Wow, looks really neat. The glasses girl in the scans sort of resembles the doctor from Rune Factory 2.

Yes Darth, it is the same Laguna, because if you notice, Mist is there too.

Well, yeah. But it was a different Jack in 64 and BtN and for example Popuri was still in both Mineral Town and in Flowerbud Village.

The only differences in those Jack's was that the 64 Jack had a green cap. Both of these Laguna's are in the same clothes.

This looks epic. I wonder if it'll ever come to North America. Although even if it does, Natsume will do a royal job of ruining the dialogue like they always do. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasad.gif)

Yes, it and Rune Factory 2 will come out in America. (although they are no longer classified as Harvest Moon)

As of right now, there is no official release date, but it will be sometime this year.

Well, after the first RF, it became it's own series, departing from the HM franchise. So actually, in the next six months or so, a new game in the HM franchise should be announced as well. :D
There's more pictures on that site if you search. I hope they improve the graphics a little though.
