I decided to get the game this week after a bit of debating with myself. While I do like the game quite a lot, I have to admit there's a few parts of it that really annoy me. For instance, having to slash the fruit back at the trees seems more difficult than it should be :\ The wiimote has to do the slash quickly and correctly. Maybe it's just how I have everything setup, but more often than not it comes down purely to fluke that I mention to hit back in time. But uh yeha, not a big deal. I'm really impressed so far; the graphics and story are just lovely.

Well, luckily for you, you may have just acquired a collectible version of the game thanks to a little oversight in the boxart.

I don't understand what's that supposed to be D:
Oh, and I take back what I said earlier about the controls. Having played it more today I've gotten a lot more used to drawing :] Edit: I see it now. And wow, I really do have that on my copy. Woops! |

You can apparently get a new cover for it too. In some fun new styles, or the classic style without the IGN logo. http://www.capcom.com/artredemption/

That's awesome. I may have to go buy a copy that still has the IGN logo on it.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

Yeah, I can definitely see this spurring on a few sales. Which is good, 'cause the PS2 didn't sell well, and for such a nice game that's a darn shame.

I definitely hope they get a lot more sales. The game definitely deserves some attention. Quite often people complain that original games aren't coming out, yet when they do few actually buy them :\
On another note, I've heard the credits were removed. |

Yeah, they had shipping problems with the PS2 version I hear. It was pretty hard getting my own copy of that game. (I went to, what, ten-thousand Gamestops? Killer!)
There's also the thing about it resembling a Zelda game, which I don't see at all. The credits were removed? Aw...they were pretty credits too. D: |

Seriously? I see Okami for the PS2 all the time at EBGames.
I don't understand how it's like Zelda either (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasad.gif) |

I love Okami I got it for the PS2 when it first came out. I beat the game and collected all the stuff for the game.

I picked up the game about an hour or two ago. Hopefully I'll have time to play it tomorrow. <3
Any tips? :D |

Um, it's for Wii and PS2 D: It's basically an adventure game you play as a wolf. You eventually get a sword, and apparently even a shield. You wield a celestial brush which can be used to create a sun, lilypads, bring life to nature, slash enemies, create wind, and a bunch of other things. It's quite well done :] I'd definitely recommend it for the collection.
Hope you like it, Emy :D Let me know how you go. As for me, I've actually stopped once I got to the second "chapter" of the game. I had played 15 hours so far and just didn't have the same dedication to continue. I plan to continue eventually D: |

I played for a couple of hours. Drawing can be a pain every now and then, but it's usually not too bad. <3
The graphics are amazing. I've seen screenshots, but never actually saw the game in action until I played it myself. :] |

I was gonna get this game but Nintendo Power said the controls system sucked. I might change my mind.
