Well, the easiest way I could do it would be to show you various examples. So let's take the number 100 and divide it by a few things :]

100/10 = 10
100/100 = 1
100/1000 = 0.1
100/10,000 = 0.01

Okay, we see that it gets smaller as what we divide by increases. Now let's try making the divisor decrease.

100/10 = 10
100/1 = 100
100/0.1 = 1000
100/0.01 = 10,000
100/0.001 = 100,000
100/0.0001 = 1,000,000

See, it gets bigger :D As you approach a divisor of 0 the result approaches infinity. Unless you have a negative number up top, in which case it will approach negative infinity :]
