No, I'm glad. And thank you. So many overachievers nowadays and it's really annoying. Don't get me wrong, it's good they have goal and dreams and just desires to do well in school; I'd much rather see that than high school dropouts. But no one really cares. Is some boss of mine one day going to be like "wow, you did horrible in fourth grade English!" or even in high school? They might be interested about my university years but their concern is more if I can do what I'm applying to do. Of course, it depends what field you're in, I guess, but still. I'm personally not going to have a future boss refuse to hire me for programming because I can't model all that well :) This was not overly useful as a rebuttal, was it? D:

Err, not required, but I'd say the whole thing would take 10.

That's not so bad. I think I've written 2000 words in about two hours before. Well, I have; I do it quite regularly. Do you have to do research though? That'll hold you back.

No, though that's not to say the thought has never crossed my mind. Not that I would though, but I'm sure it's been in there at least once - like now for instance.

I don't exactly blame them. As long as it doesn't look creepy.

You know, this is funny. I was thinking today about how I rate my days :) So here's a 1 (top) to 7 (worst).
Monday - 3 Tuesday - 1 Wednesday - 2 Thursday - 4 Friday - 7 Saturday - 6 Sunday - 5 I could explain if you'd like :] |

Monday - 3
I get to sleep in after my weekend. The day mostly consists of me waking up, going on my laptop for a bit and then taking a relaxing train ride to uni. After that I have a tutorial and Computer Architecture, usually followed with some time with a friend. The only problems are the tutorial and the bus ride from the train. Tuesday - 1 This is my day off. I have no classes, no work, just nothing. I can do whatever I want. Wednesday - 2 Kind of like Tuesday except I have a tutorial for Animation which is optional, and sometimes I meet up with friends to do stuff. I like my time alone though so that's not always good. There's usually lots of homework to do for the next day too. Thursday - 4 Back to class now, but at least I got to sleep in. They're Programming and Animation so I can't really complain unless I have homework. We usually go out for dinner somewhere nice this tonight. Dairy Queen too :] Friday - 7 I hate this day so much. It's just depressing. I wake up and at 11 I have to go to six hours of business courses in a row. Accounting I just dread because I apparently don't do well in the class. Finance is a great class, but after 4 hours of sitting still I really can't go on anymore - I often leave early. Then I get to take the train home, usually having about 3 hours after which until I have to go to bed because I have work in the morning. Saturday - 6 Bah, have to get up at 6am to go to work :\ Then I get to not do homework all day even though I feel should. I'm exhausted and it's a very long day in general. Sunday - 5 It's like Saturday but at least I don't have to worry about going to work the next day. |
