a couple weekends ago I went out of town for two days, when I got back home, I turned my computer on to get on here, and my computer had eaten itself from the inside out... I just got it fixed today...

I've been using firefox, but lately its been running rather slow and here on this forum, instead of showing images it says 'IPB IMAGE,' but when I come here on IE it shows them. Its doing the same thing for other websites too. D: Whats wrong?

Saffy hasn't actually said anything in here for a while, so... From my experience, it's some kinda bizarre loading issue. Generally refreshing the page can help. I also think you can right click the "IPB Image" and just go "View picture", it'll load, when you click back to the first page and it's there.
Never looked into WHY it happens because usually it's easy enough to fix. So I guess I don't really have an answer to "What's Wrong?" but it still fixes the problem easy enough. edit: Well, that was quick. It seems "IPB image" means Invision PowerBoard Image. It's placeholder text when the image tag fails to find an image where the tag is pointing to, so PowerBoard returns the error. I guess it could either be A: An issue with Powerboard failing to actually work as it should sometimes, or B: The host of the image isn't responding well with Powerboard. |
