Why, yes. Yes I can.
Lyn's a lady who found you (a tactician) in her game and you helped lead her to victory as a bunch of crazy stuff happened with fires and emblems and Roy's pop stabbin' stuff while his buddy hacked stuff away with a big ol' axe. It was nuts. Okay, I should probably be more descriptive than that but I havn't played the game in a long time and she's just an assist trophy so who really cares? I'll give it a shot anyway. From the Sacean Plains she's the daughter of the chieftain of the Lorca nomadic tribe. 'til they got stabbed. So she was living alone for a while and then, suddenly, she ends up dealing with a bunch of guys that wanna kill her because as it turns out, she's a princess of Caelin. Mostly because of the previous princess eloping with a Sacaen. This coupled with alot of family murders leads her to be one of the last members in the line and at the end of her ten chapter mini-story before the actual game she ends up hanging out with her grand pappy for a while after killing Mr. Bad Murderer Guy. Hooray. |

NEW UPDATE:
Battleship Halberd has been released as a new stage! Its Metaknight's battleship...isn't it? Well, we'll have to find out later. The stage moves from the hanger, then onto the ship, and eventually onto the deck. On the deck, there is a laser cannon in the background along with a cannon that fires missles and an animatronic hand. Try to avoid getting hit by these at all costs (obviously). Apparently, the Battleship Halberd plays an extensive role in the Subspace Emissary but they wont tell us more. So...

NEW UPDATE:
Special Brawl is a new mode entering SSBB! In SSBM you had Special Melee where you can change the beginning characteristics like Giant Melee, or Invisible Melee. Well, in Special Brawl, you can have almost everything at once! You can toggle between: Damage or Stamina; Size - Mega or Mini; Head - Flower or Bunny; Body - Metal or Clear; Status - Curry or Reflect; Gravity - Light or Heavy; Speed - Slow or Fast; and Camera - Fixed or Angled. This sounds like the most innovative part of the game so far!

How? The Ice Climbers were an amazing and unique duo of characters. Heck, have you seen some of the damage you can do with them? Either using them as a awesomely coordinated duo or even separating them and using Nana as an invincible pummeling machine while Popo's walking into a wall.

Well, too bad for you. They had an amazing recovery technique...
Snake? Snake?! SNAAAAAAKE! Yeah, we all knew he was there, but there was a small chance he wouldn't be included in an update.... Then we got a TRIPLE update with music and fun. Be careful, or you might learn something when it's done! In any case, this crazy guy's been sneaking his way into our hearts for 20 years and now he's the forerunner in the race for 3rd party characters. Mostly because he's already confirmed, but... anyway. Lots of explosives and a tough base moveset and he's sure to be quite a spaz in the Smash world. But Mario keeps a decently youthful appearance. C: And I don't play as Mario, anyways, so it doesn't really matter.

Oh, is Gamestop using it now? Well, I guess that confirms it. I remember there being some strife over the legitimacy of it before because the only site that had it up was eStarland a while ago.

Newcomer: Lucas
I had mixed feelings about this possibility, but I guess it's too late now, huh? In any case, we finally have another EarthBound update that I needed so badly. He's the psychic kid that hails from Mother 3, but does he replace Ness, or merely compliment him? I guess we'll have to wait and see. That hairdo looks kinda O'Brien-y in 3D, dosn't it? Today's update was a whole bunch of Snake videos and some more information on his stage. Watch 'em, they're pretty neat. However, I feel like I should counter this update with another video to help generate some more hype for Lucas here.
There arn't any spoilers present, unless you're some kinda-super-anti-spoiler person and find every small event a spoiler or something. Just watch it. |
