So I can get through the first dungeon, but I suck at the boss. I heard people beating it at level 10 which I'm at now but no luck. I'd say my biggest problem is not having a way to recover RP?

Well, you don't even need to get HIT, so not having RP's not really a problem. I know I usually don't have any when I get to a boss. For this guy you can get off a whole combo by running around him when he's attacking and hitting him during the animation. When he's red, just basically do the same except with only one swipe. Maybe two if you're quick.

I tried dodging but I'm pretty bad there. I wanted RP so that it wouldn't drain my health. I can go in with full HP and a little bit of RP (say 10%). I guess I'll try dodging again. What level did you beat him at?

Probably level ten like you said. I have a tendency to not pay attention to it.

Yay, beat him. I was at level 12 though, but I think I might've been able to take him later could I avoid him better. Anyway, I don't really know what to do now so maybe I'll just farm for a bit.

Farming is the solution to everything in progression of the game, so you might as well... but you gotta do it inside the dungeons. For some stupid reason.

Ah, yeah, I see what you mean. I needed to till a lot in the first cave to get the pass. Do I have to constantly do this for the others?

All except one so far for me. It really sucks. Like I'm EVER gonna maintain crops in all of these stupid things.

That's what bothered me about it. I probably wouldn't even do it in the dungeon I was currently going through D:
Woah. At level 17 (I was grinding on a holiday) I went from 136 HP to 206. Sweet! |

So you haven't yet? What do you do in the game then? I was thinking I was behind and was trying to get through the first cave as soon as possible. I'm on Spring 15th now and my potatoes just grew. Yay.
Darth, how far are you? |

Wow. I must be going quick in the dungeon thing. I'm on Summer 22nd, level 45, and beat the mountain area not too long ago. I've decided to leave the dungeons alone though and start working on cooking more.
Also, alot of my crops got destroyed just recently by a storm. All but three of my pineapple crop is destroyed (IMG:style_emoticons/default/weirdsmile.gif) |

Congratz! :D Now I'm not the only one behind. Keep up updated.
I played the game a bit at work today, just grinded a bit. I'm starting to develop a routine now. I'll do crops in the morning, maybe go to the caves (or fish otherwise), then at 3:00 pm go to the spa for health. I usually just try going back to the caves after that :] |

Sounds like a good routine to me. I have since replaced fishing entirely by mining myself. Here's a quick tip though: Grind off enemies who drop weapons. They sell for more than the price you'd buy them at the store!

They drop weapons? Haven't seen that yet. I might try mining now that I have a hammer.

The dudes in the first room of both the first and second caves drop weapons. The second one drops spears, the first one drops swords. Sword = 1000 something and spear = 2000 something. Not bad at all.

It amuses me how spread out the voice acting is. They won't do it for the entire scene, just the odd phrase.
Do I have to do anything special for them to drop weapons? I've never picked up one from the first dungeon. |

If I recall, the first day is a Holiday, right?
Also, could someone tell me where all the tools are? I'm kind of lazy to search for it. :P |
