QUOTE(HB!!! @ Aug 11 2007, 06:51 PM) the girl in red from golden axe with the fire magic would come back as a character. If nintendo would go as far as to include a character from an originally rivaling counsel in the hottest game of the year then the possoabilities of characters would be endless. Just wanted t say that. Oh and now I really want sonic in now. Tyris Flare. I'm SURE Sega's gonna get in one way or another, but it's most likely gonna be Sonic and Sonic only. |

WARNING! CHALLENGER APPROACHING!
Pokemon Trainer No way! The Pok?mon Trainer has finally arrived. And it looks like he doesn't do his fighting directly. Instead, he uses the three Pok?mon with him Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard to do the fighting for him. For more info, check Here. |

Very interesting indeed. I hope alternate costumes are different trainers instead of different colors... That'd be awesome. Although I wonder what his Final Smash will be... maybe hyper-beefed up Mewtwo?
Though I do wonder where Red will stand on those thinner or rapidly moving stages... Like the Great Fox or that new Donkey Kong level. |

Hey guys I'm back!! Yay!! I'm so excited about the Pokemon Trainer. Thats a really cool addition. Plus, it leaves a possiblility of other obscure characters getting into the mix.

I wouldn't exactly call the Pokemon Trainer an "Obscure character." Pit's probably a better example of that. Welcome back by the way!

Yeah, you control all three of them. There's a special move to switch between though, since they eventually get tired.

But then how does the trainer die? do the Pokemon die, and then when you run out of Pokemon lives you lose?
I'm still confused on how this character will work... |

Normal methods? They all share a health bar, and I guess if you kick the Pokemon out of the ring it dies.

I would assume you would just play them normally, for the most part -- like Saffy said. All pokemon share a life percentage, and if one gets KO'd, then they'll just be brought back to the screen.

Haha. The graphics are so much better than the last one. But thats expected... :D I hope they fixed that thing where Links bow would spin around backwards after you fired it if you paused it at a certain point. It looked funny o_O
Oh and thanks Koz and PC for doing the updates while I was gone :D |
