NEW UPDATE:

Pit's Underground, a new music composition has been unveiled. Not the update we were hoping for but if you get a chance, go listen to it. Its pretty good :D

Hooray! I loved the music in Kid Icarus. It's nice to see that the first level's theme AND the Grim Reapers theme is implemented so nicely together. Those little guys were NUTS.

I hated today's update. They need to update with something that we can discuss for a day until the next update!

My friend who is really up on this also, Ryan, like I've mentioned him before, says that he's 96% sure that sonic will be in the game becuase since he has been on a nintendo console before nad they have that new game coming out made by Sega called "Mario and Sonic At the Olympic Games." Where he thinks that since Sega is using Mario, now Nintendo will use Sonic as a trade-off of sorts.

I'm not going to lie, seeing Sonic in a SSB game would rock, because I would love to just set him as a level 1 computer and toss him around a little, but I highly doubt he'll be there. We were lucky to get Snake, let's keep it at that. Haha. But here's wishing right?

I'm sad that there is no more Marth. I was really good with him, we worked together really well, and now all they have is Ike, and from the sounds of it, he's going to be a heavier character, not a light and nimble Marth. *sigh* Now I've gotta find a new character.

The update for today was alright, but like everyone else, I'm antsy for something big. But, what I'd like most of all... Would be the game itself. Haha.

You don't feel that Ike, being a slower character, would be a replacement for Roy rather than Marth? Especially since Marth happens to be the first Lord of the FE series. I wouldn't count him out just yet. Then again... Sigurd's a Japan favorite so you never know. Not to mention the chances for the movesets to be changed completely to more accurately match the games.

Also, don't count Sonic out just yet. Remember, Sakurai said that there'd be a small amount of third party characters (2-3) and we all know how much we wanna see Sonic and Mario finally duke it out right and proper like we fantasized about in elementary/middle school.

Sonic is almost a sure fire thing at this point. I mean with him getting into the Olympic Games with Mario, being a SEGA game, then couldn't SEGA lend Sonic to Nintendo for this game?

True, Marth can't be counted out yet, but they said that a lot of people were being scratched. FE wasn't popular here until recently, so I wouldn't be surprised if Ike is the only character. And you must remember, Roy was slower than Marth, so someone who likes the versatility of Marth probably doesn't work well with Roy (such as myself).

As for Sonic, I am aware he's in the Olympic game with Mario, but that was a joint decision made by Nintendo/Sega. Remember, Sega really isn't anyone right now. They have no major consoles, they just produce games. So they don't have much say so over a lot. They can opt to keep Sonic out, but why on earth would you want to? SSB is too big of a game to say "No I really would rather not have my character play a part in this." So the question isn't will SEGA give Sonic to be used in SSB, but will Nintendo actually want him.

Lots of Sonic rumors flew around during SSBM, and it was met equally with excitement and repulsion. So we'll just have to wait and see.

NEW UPDATE:

Palutena's Army has been revealed as Pit's Final Smash. First, he summons Palutena and her army from the heavens. The Centurions (the warriors in his army) divebomb your opponents with amazing speed before falling to the ground. Each Centurion only attacks once, however, their attacks are almost impossible to dodge.

Yay! We were right about something! It was Palutena :D

I don't think it was Palutena in that screen shot we were discussing a few days ago.. I don't see the gauntlets in the pictures of Pit's final smash. The hair is blonder too; Palutena's hair is green.

Huh... Well, the clothes still look about right. It could just be some kinda effect of the glowyness that makes it look more blonde than green. Also, I guess this makes it pretty hard for her to be a playable character now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasad.gif)
