Ranch Story Annual Forum Egg Hunt '14

Hello, everyone! Easter is slowly ambling on its way towards us and it is time to gather together like you did when you were kids to join-in on the competitive search for painted eggs. Try your hardest to trudge through dusty, old topics for the most eggs, and maybe you'll win a fabulous prize! (currently to be determined)
Yes, even you, guests, can join now to get in on the fun to be had!

In earlier years, the egg hunt would be performed in that you, friend, would submit in your eggs and they would be hidden sneakily throughout the forums.... This year, however, it shall be YOU to hide them in your posts from the past, wherever you choose. Keep in mind that you must also come up with a hint to go alongside the hiding places, so do not just place your egg in "the topic in which I introduced myself." That would be a little too easy to find, if you understand.
Once the event starts, you must send me a message immediately as to where you found the egg, the exact post, please, so I can know which one of you found the egg first in case two people claim to find the same egg.

Rules:
1. No cheating. I know you're very good friends with Jenny, but it's in everyone's best interest for you not to tell her where you plan on hiding your eggs.
2. No using the search feature to browse through members' posts, if you would please be so kind. That would just be cheating once again and why make a "hunt" easy in such a way?
3. You may want to log yourself in as anonymous for the event, to avoid online list viewers' wandering eyes.
4. Please make sure to PM me once you find an egg straight away. I know we're not really raving with members to cause close finds, but it'd make us all feel better.
5. Have fun and keep good sportsmanship.

FROM TODAY UNTIL MARCH 5TH YOU MAY SIGN UP
- STARTING MARCH 5TH (or whenever you sign up) YOU WILL START TO DESIGN YOUR EGGS. YOU CAN CREATE AS MANY AS YOU WOULD LIKE, BUT I RECOMMEND FIVE. YOU WILL HAVE UNTIL APRIL 13TH YOU CREATE AND TURN IN YOUR EGGS TO ME. (so I can make sure ya did 'em!)
- ONCE YOU SHOW ME YOUR EGGS, YOU MAY BEGIN TO SNEAK AROUND IN ORDER TO HIDE YOUR EGGS IN YOUR PAST POSTS.
- WHEN THE EGGS ARE ALL HIDDEN, WE SHALL BEGIN ON APRIL 20TH (Easter) AND THE EVENT SHALL COMMENCE FOR THREE TO FIVE DAYS!

If eggs begin to take a while to be found, more hints may be offered by the egg's hider (or me, if people start to not show up for the event). Two extra hints may be given after the first initial hint.

PRIZES: We will have a FIRST and SECOND place winners for this event! You may also win a prize, too, if your egg is not found for the duration of the event, so try to be extra-clever when hiding your eggs! But don't be a jerk and hide it somewhere impossible.

I'll put that in once the time comes for it.

That's part of the reason I think it might be good to go anonymous, so people don't see what you're doing.
