So, one of the people that I am trying to get back onto the boards had brought up an idea that sounded like it could be both beneficial to the Wiki, and a lot of fun. They recommended that we do kind of a group session on playing through a game we all have, which will allow us to share our experiences through the game, progress, stories, etc. All the while we can fill up our Wiki with information.
So, I thought I'd list the games I have, and go from there. Harvest Moon (GBC) Harvest Moon 64 Harvest Moon FoMT Harvest Moon Magical Melody Harvest Moon Save the Homeland Harvest Moon Boy and Girl Harvest Moon DS Harvest Moon 3D A Tale of Two Towns Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquility Harvest Moon Animal Parade Harvest Moon My Little Shop Innocent Life: A Fantasy Harvest Moon (SE) Rune Factory Rune Factory 3 I think that's all of them. :D Sooo let me know if you want to play one? |

We actually try doing this every year, but it's generally pretty difficult to get people interested and have them stay interested. Darth is usually the only one who gives active updates and posts pictures and such when that happens. It's not a bad idea, it's just not always one that works.

That's okay. Darth now has another supporter. :P We should catalog people and see when (generally) works best for them. I know holidays are always tougher for me, and spring is the easiest since there's really nothing to do. Summer I'm outside a lot (I run and love swimming), and fall starts to get better again. So I go through these periods of time where I game my thumbs off, and then don't touch them for a while.
What about you; do you like doing it? |

What no puzzle de Harvest Moon or Frantic Farming? D: My main reason in playing those games is because they are the fastest to beat in terms of story and info gathering. I was actually thinking about a topic like this earlier this week asking for help gathering info from those games.
I'm down for those games in the list though actually. ^^ So I'll join. (Though I'll double check my availability of those games later and finalize the answer) I really wanna play again Any of the wonderful life series. Rune factory 3 Innocent life Aaaaand try out the boy and girl HM for the psp. I can squeeze in some time to play at least an hour these days. |

I'm in Japan - have to do homework when I get back - school starts up.
I really won't have time. If I pick up any Harvest Moon/Rune Factory game during that time though, I might post about it. |

Yeeeees! Let me know what game you really wanna play. Also how long do these sessions usually last out of curiosity? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

From memory, a lot of the time we'd start them up in your American summer holidays. So I'd say roughly a month or more.

I can't figure out why I find that funny but that is a hilarious way to describe our holidays. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
Thanks for the info Charmy. ^^ I'm still gonna participate either way. Already slamming Frantic Farming for the wiki. (though suck at writing so just getting art) |

Write down the info anyway! So long as it's accurate! >:0
Anyway, if we can't agree on a game, a think an open play to any game could work too. |

I feel that because no one really knows much about Innocent life we should do a session of it. X)
I own the psp version so won't be able to take any good photos really (maybe temporary screen caps?) will help on the info though. What do you think Peter? Up for a round of robot farming? |

Yeah I can do that! I don't have a capture card yet to hook my PS2 up to for screenshots but it is in the works come 2014. Also, capture cards could work for PSPs if you bought the TV output wires (I know I have a set myself).
But sure, Innocent Life is good for me. We will just have to figure out a time that works best for us and go from there. I'm almost done with FFTA2 and I would really like to, at the very least, finish that first. :) |
