For some reason, I never even thought of sylph being the word it's name was derived from.

Eevee - Evolution (unsure about this, but kinda makes sense) = normal
Flareon - Flare = fire Jolteon - Jolt = electric Vaporeon - Vapor (water in the form of fog, mist, etc.) = water Espeon - ESP (psychic ability) = psychic Umbreon - Umbr (prefix in Latin meaning shadow) = dark Glaceon - Glacier = ice Leafon - Leaf = grass Sylveon - Sylph = flying?? This is just my speculation, but I think we may have something here. Unless... (and I've had this thought lately...) they try this "direct evolution" crap with Eevee. plz don't gais |

What do you mean direct evolution? Like it evolves by level up and it is of the normal type?

Right. That's what I mean. Just like a "normal" evolution.

No. That would be awful. I wouldn't want to have to give my Eevee a fricking everstone. That's such a waste of a held item!

A really cool theory that I've been seeing people have is that in the picture Kozunai posted, the Eeveelutions directly opposite to each other are weak/strong against each other...
ie: Umbreon's strong against Espeon. Flareon's strong against Glaceon. Leafeon's strong against Vaporeon. And since we're assuming that Jolteon's strong against something, it'd be Flying... or alternatively, it could be a Ground-type, though there's hardly any arguments for that. :< Also this is so weird but is it just me or does the colouring of Sylveon remind anyone else of the Heart Scale? I was thinking then, that maybe Eevee evolves into it using that as an item or something? ... But then there's the fact that in previous generations, new Eeveelutions evolved in showcasing some new mechanics in the game. ie. Espeon and Umbreon with the day/night, respectively, and Glaceon/Leafeon with the little stones in the specific areas. I HAVE NO CLUE WHERE I'M GOING WITH THAT THOUGHT. :9 But here's a little comic I found on tumblr for anyone who has heard of/watched Madoka... Unfortunately I wasn't. For some reason, when I made that comment, I completely forgot about Eevee evolving into Espeon and Umbreon via friendship. I was just thinking about how much of a pain in the ass it is to give my first-form starter an everstone when I could be giving it something like eviolite or another item.

Yeah, not gonna happen Darth. What if I set my game down and a battle ended where my eevee grew a level? Then I would lose my precious Eevee that I worked so hard to train and get the right nature and ability, and have the perfect move set.

Save early, save often. A mistake like that is quickly rectified by pressing the soft-reset button combo.

He kinda flipped out and left on his own, even after being told he could stay if he wanted. Then he did a bunch of dickish things. Sooo...
Who's gonna get that Meloetta that's out at Gamestops/wherever they're releasing in your territory? |

Movie 16 shows up in proper trailer form. Looks like it's gon' be about artificial pokemon kicking each other's ass. Also, apparently it's hinted Mewtwo may have a new form with the line that we haven't seen the "real" mewtwo yet. There's some good ol' fashioned season 1 music used in the trailer too. Also Sylveon gets it's own Pikachu adventure. |
