So, in your opinion, what are the top three games of this year (and this year only)? It can be anything from a WiiWare title to a PS3 game.
Make sure that the first game you list is your favorite of the year! And try not to realize I just copied and pasted Charmy's topic from last year, I mean seriously everything but this sentence |

1. Xenoblade
2. Shadows of the Damned 3. Batman: Arkham City Xenoblade is the best genuine console jrpg of this generation. Tied with NieR for me but I've come across loads of people that would consider it "action/adventure" so whatever. Shadows of the Damned had amazing atmosphere and music. I know the gameplay is pretty much RE4 and the "save my kidnapped girlfriend" storyline is almost as old school as it but I loved the style, setting and as I mentioned; the atmosphere Batman: Arkham City because it's Batman. The end of the game (final boss + ending) and short length made it a bit of a disappointment but still doesn't take away enough to keep it out of the top 3 All these things said however I'm only just starting inFamous 2 now and will be starting Bastion after that so this list is subject to change! |
