It's a well established fact that I like to gather things, but I figured that maybe I could actually think of a way that could benefit all of us and other enthusiasts. So, does anyone know about the various items the Harvest Moon and Rune Factory series has spawned, including the games themselves? I'm sure someone out there's interested in those Rune Factory phone cards, and regardless every little detail is helpful. Even something like knowing how many pages are in a manual can help people avoid counterfeits and knowing what useless ad inserts are in games might help the somewhat more obsessive fans. This information can be later added to our own wiki, as well as maybe external sources that accept the information like Gameswag.
So, let's start the information pool. Here's a basic example: Harvest Moon: Animal Parade's North American version contains the game, a registration post card, and the US manual is 30 pages in full color. We also know that the boxes between US and Canadian versions vary. For pre-orders, it also came with a Duck plush although I'm uncertain if this was a Gamestop exclusive or if it was for multiple retailers. |

The Duck was Gamestop only. So was the Pig for Sunshine Island. I remember making sure they were ordered from Gamestop so I could get them.
The Horse was also Gamestop only. The Alpaca could have been ordered from Gamestop or from the Natsume website. I have no idea about the other plushies. |

The NA release of Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town came in a box with the game, registration card, a health and safety precautions booklet, a Nintendo Power subscription ad, and a 38-page, full color manual.

I hate how expensive the plushies get on eBay. I'm not personally interested, but I tried to get an alpaca for my girlfriend and the cheapest I could find was like $40.

Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility's NA version came with the game and a 34 page, full color manual. The pre-order bonus was a cow plush.
P Patch: Not sure about the horse plush, but I could've sworn you were able to preorder off Amazon as well to get the duck and pig plushes. |

Usually random little items appear for E3, but from the looks of it, the only new/unique item is a 15th Anniversary tote bag: http://www.ebay.com/sch/?_nkw=harvest%20mo...id=350965586380
I kinda want it... |

I have the manual for Back to Nature. The front and back are in color (light green), but the pages are black and white. There are 30 pages total counting the inside of the covers.
Apparently there is also a strategey guide for BtN, although I don't own it. It's by Prima Games and is presumably the same color as the manual. The other stategy guides I know about are for Tree of Tranquility, Animal Parade (160 pages full color), and Magical Melody (the guide for DS was in the back of the Magical Melody guide). I also know that Tale of Two Towns does not have a guide (at least one sold by Game Stop). |

I owe you guys a much better photo. DX (IMG:http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b526/acesandclubs/case_zps904babeb.jpg) Gamestop lady: Is this a present? Gear: Oh no this is for me! The Harvest Moon 10th anniversary DS lite Starter kit. Dented package but not opened. I found this while cleaning my room, nearly forgot about it. Contains: 4 Harvest Moon Island of Happiness and 3 Harvest Moon DS cute interchangeable and customizable graphics. Basically the faceplate of the cow can be switched for another image which I think is pretty cool ^^ Also comes with a Harvest Moon Stylus all cow printed design. |

I totally forgot about that thing. It looked like a pretty neat accessory, but I never upgraded to a "Lite" and kept my DSphat the entire cycle.

This is more of a question but are these official UFO plushies? They look a bit erm..off.
(IMG:http://www.setsunakou.com/ufo/runefactory312inchufos.jpg) Here's the site that features them. http://www.setsunakou.com/ufo/runefactory.html Appears more fan made than official merchandise. :/ |

At the very bottom, "These are just a sampling of what can be made, just for you!!"
It's unabashedly fan-made. It appears they even offer a service where you can request characters they don't have examples of. |
