I finally got the 3DS game, but I might be having a problem with it. Does it normally take more than a whole season to get a visible change in Love Points or Feindship Points? I've given lots of gifts, but I still can't view any Heart Events. I given gifts that they like and done requests, but there's still no Purple Flower or anything.... I've been visiting Cam everyday with flowers and I've given quite a bit of curry dishes to Kana.... I swear if this is a really bad bug or glitch I am soooo gonna be ticked! I've waited for over a month!
BTW, sorry that I haven't been on lately! Our internet is almost worse than before we had it fixed... EDIT: Turns out it's fine. It just really takes a while. |

I wish I had an answer for you, seeing as I'm one of the few people on the site who actually owns Twin Villages in any format, but... uh.... truth is, I haven't had any visible changes in flower color either. Though, this is probably because I'm wooing Dirka, whose flowers don't change color, and not any of the regular bachelors.
If you've only been playing for one season, then give it a bit more time. Sometimes it can take a bit longer in these games to break the ice. I'd also double check to make sure you haven't been giving them conflicting gifts. Even one wrong gift can really ###### you over. |

Actually it's fine. I got a purple flower (man, I almost typed "heart"), it's just really slow apparrently. It did freeze during a typhoon though, but I think it's fine.
Good luck with Dirk! |

The problem would be is it seems to be a cheap port of the DS version. I don't think it would gain much attraction sales wise. Also they always always make the problem of announcing the next title just before the previous one comes out. Which always looks much better then the one we had just finished waiting for- and then begins the wait once more.

You activate the Heart events by going on dates at certain areas, time, and flower levels. It confused me at first! Ushi no Tane has the exact info.
@trinest. I actually like the 3DS version's graphics a bit more, plus the petting minigame is REALLY effective! I almost have my cow at 5 hearts and I haven't had her a full season. The price was also VERY good for a 3DS game, which is always a good thing :3 Besides I've been using my 3DS more than my regular DS and it's too annoying to hold that one button when starting up a DS game, so the graphics don't stretch. I only know of one game that looked better with the stretched graphics (first Hamtaro game for GBC fyi). I'm suprised that more ppl on here didn't buy it. The bachelors and bachelorettes are good (AnoWL I'm looking at you), the gimmick is interesting, it's not too simple, not too complicated, it has alpacas, it has owls, the world is large enough to explore, but not too large that you pretty much have to focus on one area a day (ToT), it has alpacas, and you know what? I haven't enjoyed a HM game to this extent since Animal Parade. I give this game an 8.5/10! |

I've been looking at some videos of the 3DS version and it kind of gives me a AWL vibe, but at the same time I'm not sure.

I've read up on the two different versions, and the 3DS version is zoomed out more, and sprites are way smaller looking. Furthermore, 3DS apparently has a pretty rampant freezing glitch. I'm sticking with the DS version just to be safe. I'd rather be able to play without worrying about a glitch messing up everything than see my cows in 3D.
