Is it better to kill them or sell them in regards to your child's trust? I'm only asking because I have two roosters and I want to get rid of one.

It depends on what you want your child to become. But no matter what, selling it is the best.

I either want her to be an artist, musician, or rancher. I have Nami's child though and she seems to like art more right now. Don't know if that'll change in the 3rd chapter or not. Say how long is the 2nd chapter? I heard it was two full years. Is that right?

In the PS2 version, all chapters are one year long. In the GameCube version (only AWL not AnWL) the chapters were one year, two years, three years, two years, one year, and one year, repectively. AnWL follows the same time as SE, all of the are one year long.

Also, you will have to influence your shild some if you want them to become something other than what they are geared toward from your spouse.

Yeah I know. I have been taking her to Cody's house, the Mansion, Gustafa Yurt, and showing her to the people that live there (as well as showing her to Patrick and Tim and Ruby and any villagers I see on my way) as well as having only animals, riding my horse, and making a living off of fish and animal products. Also I am friends with almost all of the villagers from before Chapter 2 (I had only Marlin and Kassey left at the end of Chapter 1).

In Chapter Three a few villagers (In particular Romana, Gustafa, and Wally) will give you items to show to your child to help influence them in a certain career path.

Oh cool! Say on the buying of the goat. It says in the FAQs Van goes down to 1200G but the lowest I got him is 2000 and he says that's his final offer. Should I take it? Or try to see if I can get the 1200

You have to have both a rooster and a male duck. And also, on the Goat, I would take the 2000 if you got him to that low, it is very hard to do.

I never had a problem getting eggs from chickens, but I rarely ever put them in the chicken yard. I just left them in the coop and made sure to feed them properly. Your problem may actually be that you're leaving them outside every day. Just make sure that the coop is full of food and that they're eating said food and you should get eggs. Also, remember not to stick them out in the rain. They get sick.

In regards to the ducks, you do have to have the female duck in order to get duck eggs as far as I can remember.

Actually, you can leave them in the chicken yard while it's raining, and they will never get sick. :) It's a neat little glitch. Also, to get eggs even when they are outside, you have to make sure you have food in the coop, again, another glitch with the chicken yard.
