My soil is misbehaving! Options

I don't get it. One day I fertilize my soil to the max, best quality. But then the next day there are a few patches that have gone down in quality. Why does it lose quality after only one day? Is this normal?

Very strange. You did seed the soil directly after you got the soil to best quality right?

Yes, right after I fertilized it I planted the seeds and watered. The next day some of the soil was low quality again. I really don't want to have to buy fertilizer every day. :(

I'm not sure about this. Usually when I ready my soil I never check it again after the seeds. When it's time to harvest the quality of what I plant is typically better. Perhaps it just looks as if the soil is the same? Check the veggies when you harvest to see if change happened. If not I'm really not quite sure what could have happened to the soil....

Does it say that it's low quality or does it just appear that way? Note - I don't own Animal Parade. D';

with most HM games, teh quality isn't seen until harvest.

No you see the higher the quality, the darker the soil. I see that the next day patches of soil are lighter. Also, I am growing flowers and the soil quality affects how fast flowers grow. The soil quality is reduced the next day, and as a result, a few flowers are still not ready for harvest while all the rest is ready. Maybe I'm just glitched. :/

Have you rung the Yellow Bell, by chance? It's the Earth Bell, so that may be affecting your soil quality.

from the HM games I've played, the manure affets teh quality, but is only visable for a day. when you harvest the crops, it should be a better quality than the normal one. I, admitedly, have not played AP, so it may have changed.

In Animal Parade this situation is a bit different. I saw this topic earlier but didn't bother commenting, because I thought it was common knowledge.

In Animal Parade the soil is darker the higher the quality, and the soil will start to lose quality if you fertilize before you sow the seeds. The only way to keep it from going down, is to sow your seeds first, then throw your fertalizer down. Now of course, it doesn't mean that you won't still get decent crops out of them, that is completely random.

Also, one other thing. If you have crops growing, every two weeks your soil quality will go down one level.
