Do you like the Kingdon of Tamriel? Discuss your adventures.
Are you looking forward to Skyrim? The frst details of Skyrim EBWonder is a avid fan of TES:Oblivion and is currently replaying the game as a ranged specialist (thief/ranger-mage). |

Relatively recently replayed through both Daggerfall and Morrowind, sorta started on Oblivion but kept not feeling into it after a while. In any case, I'm pretty heavily looking forward to Skyrim. Probably going to finally upgrade my computer after half a decade to make sure it plays to the best of it's ability even.

I was thinking the same thing Darth, although I baought my laptop back in ...er....'05ish. I definitely need to build a new one if I want to game.
Do you think there should be a multiplayer option? |

Nah, it just doesn't seem very important. Especially when you consider that for 17 years or so the series has mostly been about adventuring alone and would probably hurt more than help.

Iunno, those companion mods were apparently very popular. I reckon people would love it if there was a feature where you could go dungeon exploring with a friend over the internet. Doesn't sound too difficult to implement, either.
There could be specially designed large dungeons with trap puzzles requiring two people and loads of bad guys to fight and loot to be shared out and stuff, with a variety of different situations that would require the skills of different classes or something. Could be a lot of fun. |

Well, if it were a singular suoer-dungeon to do some co-op in instead of the main game sounds fine. Mostly because Battlespire already did that. It just seems most people want to turn it into an MMO or something when they talk about multiplayer, and that's just ridiculous and silly. Even without all that, if people could use their character in someone else's world it would probably just lead to casually breaking the game with how quests and items are handled.
So I guess non-main-game-co-op-thing = good, casual online whatever = bad. |

Yeah, basically. But doesn't look like there's any fear of them going in that direction. Elder Scrolls is too rich and clever and detailed and awesome and stuff for Bethesda to even dream of turning it into some crass MMO without waking up and feeling like terrible people.

I agree on all accounts Darth and Has. I'd love a little more RPGish Co-ops.

Wee, buncha new detals http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/topi...-fan-interview/
Disappointing that apparently there are now LESS armor slots. Unfortunately, the same question asked about clothing and armor but the clothing part was completely ignored. Really hope that if greaves don't have a slot there's still one for PANTS. |

Non-lethal tavern brawls!
Consider this game already sold to me. |

from what I can tell, they're only dropping two armor slot - no real difference in the game cause it will just be modified to account for more armour and weight.
looks good although no 64-bit version (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasad.gif) oh well, hopefully I can play it on Windows 7 |

Don't worry about the no 64-bit version thing. 64-bit Windows can still run 32-bit programs. Being 64 bit enabled just gives the game more access to RAM.
Also, with the loss of greaves, pants were lost as well. Now basically all outfits are single pieces. |

And I was so looking forwards to using the restored enchant skill to create the Pants of Manly Thighs, with personality and speechcraft boosts. It is truly a sad day.

I got Oblivion for Christmas this past year. It's alright. It isn't super addicting, but I enjoy playing it somewhat I guess. I keep changing my mind on whether or not I'm going to get Skyrim.
