Harvest Moon Summer Group Play Options

Ok. I need some advice... I'm seriously thinking about starting this summer group play game over, but start AWL:SE... I think I would go for either Lumina or Nami. Is the Ruby Spice trick still in that game? Should I go for it? Please tell me! I would post pictures of the new file and more detailed stuff...

To be honest, I would probably go after Lumina. I am like obsessed with a music themed farm... But I need to know if the ruby spice trick is in it.

EDIT: I have decided I am going to start AWL:SE tonight. The Ruby Spice trick is not in this game, but I have decided I am going to try to make my money legitly in this game. So expect some screenshots tonight! (gonna use my 3DS like HMR)

EDIT 2: Decided against it. I did start it, but it wasn't as appealing as I remembered it being. I'm just gonna play the original AWL instead. I've come so far in it, I don't to just give it all up...

Going after Lumina would've been sweet, because no one's gone after her.  But you have made it pretty far to have start over.



WINTER
I have so much time to kill during this season.

It's been raining at just the right moments, so crops are growing themselves, and  I don't let out the chickens during Winter (and some days in Fall).  Plus, the foraging is at it's low after dealing with Fall.  I just had to water the crops the last few days.

So, Galen had gotten alot more attention than usual as I presented him with more fish this season than any other.  I'm sure Carter's been enjoying how things were going, too.

Potatoes and strawberries were grown this time.  Just as Vesta suggested.  I didn't have anything to add to the lot.

I was going to buy something to make Winter more exciting, but decided on saving that for Spring.  It's going to be awesome.

Pretty dull, yet fulfilling.  That was my Winter.

Celia- I noticed people give Galen fish, but I typically befriend him now with Hackberries. He loves those too, and they're very easy to get.

No progress for me yet. Was busy for a while, might get into it tonight.

I'm still torn on whether or not to play special edition... I could always play both! That would work!

Ok, after much deliberation... I have decided to go with A Wonderful Life: Special Edition... It may move a bit slower, (and characters just magically pop in out of nowhere) but I really did like that game, and I've never finished it... So here are my stats so far! Keep in mind I am only a few hours into the game, these are just starting stats.

Name: Kozunai
Dog: Kody (not musically named, based on my real dog)
Farm: Chorus Farm (yay for music continuity!)
Cow: Bella (again, from the song Bella Note from "Lady and the Tramp")

I have a ton of screenshots that I will post when I get done with the spring season. But in the meantime I am having an extremely difficult time with fishing. I have only been able to catch one fish a day since I got the fishing pole, now I only got it two in-game days ago, but it's just ridiculus. Although one a day is all I need for Galen, I would like to not have to go fishing every single day.... -_-

I found the C Tablet already, and have begun friending people in the valley; however, the only person who is my friend is Nina... Not even Lumina, whom I am courting, likes me yet... :(

I really just fish to pass time.  I don't like having my character turn in for the night before 9:30.

Between selling it to Van for 60G, more or less depending on the fish, or just giving it to Galen for free, I prefer giving it away believe it or not.  (Tim got one or two of my catches)
Even though the hackberries sell for half to a third of the price of a fish, I just stick to selling them.  I make bad decisions.

Galen also likes crops, too.  He got an occasional tomato during Summer from me.

Well, now Nami is my friend! Lumina is still playing hard to get though... And even though I have only ever talked to Muffy once, she still has a red heart (well... pink in AWLSE) in her diary... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif)

Between some school registering stuff and ending up with an unexpected pet to take care of I haven't got to play much. But, I did finally manage to get through Summer today, so, stats, woo.

Year 2, Season 2-

Family-
My son is still obsessed with flowers and animals, and Celia is a vampire who refuses to leave the house. We all love each other very much.

Villagers-
Everyone likes me. I'm so popular. Yaaaaay. Meet Tartan as well, got him to upgrade some plants.

Daily Life-
My son and I force Daryl to stay inside all day. We go in, I set the kid down, I talk to the kid until he wants to be picked up and then we stay until my wife makes my son come home at 9pm. It's great. The ducks annoyed me, they made my chickens get way off on their egg laying and they ate a lot, so the ducks had to go. First cow is giving 8 bottles of A grade milk a day, other two are pregnant. Grew some S grade plants. That's about it.

Random Observations-

Van must have lost business since the last chapter, he's in the village 5 or 6 days a season.

I ended the season with 21,902G

Whoa whoa whoa. Eight bottles?! What's your secret!? I've only ever gotten 4 at the most.

Four per day or four per milking? I get four bottles in the morning and four at night making a total of eight a day. I've gotten up to ten a day before. No secret that I know of, I just hug and brush the cow every day and talk to it twice a day.

You can only get ten bottles of milk a day if your cow is giving 's grade' milk. The best way to do this is to feed your cow good fodder everyday, and don't let it go outside.

Blargh, man I'm such an idiot. When I saw eight bottles I thought you meant per milking, not 4 per milking (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

I'm almost done with Fall, bout to plant my strawberries, potatoes, and turnips once Winter starts.

What I did on my first day: I got up and went right to feeding/milking my cow, Beth. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) I'm definitely going to spoil this cow.

On my way to Vesta's farm, I ran into Nami! YEAH! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) I know that I'll be marrying her eventually, so I went to talk to her for a little bit. I found Marlin (since Vesta didn't seem to want to sell anything to me for some odd reason... ) and bought 2 watermelon seeds. I did some foraging around the area, then heading over to the harvest spring to grab up some more flowers. I headed back to the farm to take care of/milk Beth again (ending the day with four b milk. ) I planted all the seeds in my possession (including the 2 tomato seeds I got in the beginning) and then went to bed around 9:30


And that was my first day! :3

I know this isn't what you meant to say, so I'm just going to ignore it for now...

I finally got Lumina's first heart event (after almost a season...). It's much harder to befriend people in this version, I've been giving Gustafa a flower every day in spring, and I am on Spring day 9 and he still isn't my friend... I am friends with Nami, Muffy, Nina, and Lumina, even though I've been giving gifts to almost everyone everyday. Vesta sounds like a man in this version, even more so than she did in the original... I'm thinking she may be a drag queen. This is the most grown up Harvest Moon there is, so hey, it could happen. I plan to finish Spring tonight, so maybe I'll get around to posting my pictures then.

Was Vesta in the middle of an animation?  If she's digging at the ground for example, she's not going to be much help...

Characters don't accept gifts when they're doing things like that either.
